Nigel Benn calling out Chris Eubank- twitter

Post by TopGun »

Anyone been seeing the training video's and tweets Nigel has been putting out recently.

Must admit we would all tune in if they did fight again and by the looks of things they both look in good shape. Won't be much worse than a Roy jones fight!

To be fair Benn still looks quality on the pads with Hatton!

Nigel would stop him now I reckon. Overwhelm him.

Can't believe I'm saying this, but I'd like to watch it.

Get his nipper to have his debut on the undercard, and jnr to defend his trinket vs o Sullivan.

Benn/Eubank III? Benn was a half-cadaver in the Collins rematch, while Eubank lost more to ringwear than he did Thompson. And this was nearly 20 years ago. I don't think their financial problems are worth their dignity and, possibly, their health.

That being said I would absolutely watch it.

I'm sure both guys are in great shape but I don't really want to see them fight again. none of them have anything to prove. No point in them risking their health. Let sleeping dogs lie. I'd still watch it though haha!!! Maybe a wee tourney situation with Steve Collins, Joe Calzaghe, Roy Jones and Oscar?? Joke lol.

Although Benn's a lot more at peace nowadays he still has that air of menace about him doesn't he.
Even during recent interviews he's nicely calm and religious, but that edge is never far away to me.

Being serious, do you think there would be any chance of Benn making a comeback? He sold all his boxing items as he went with the 'church' seems odd to even think about uturning.

are some of you guys on the wind up?
Really, tell me I've missed the joke here.

Benn has (unless i'm very much mistaken) brain damage from his fighting days and you want to see these two in the ring again?

Considering both guys history with injuring opponents, I would be amazed if they were willing to go through with thsi

I believe he's sharing a bill with Audley 'Yes he can!' Harrison

If Naz stays at the same weight as he is now they may even be boxing each other.....

Naz is probably heavier than some of Audley's early opponents.

Absolutely this.
Even post-Watson when he'd stopped properly banging, Benn still couldn't stop or out-point the man.
As Eubank himself said "He's not in my class". Duly proven.
I like to think I wouldn't watch this rematch if it were to happen, but I probably would lol.
