Competitive throughout and if rebrasse had more power he could have wobbled smith a bit as he was admiring his work a bit too much. Good for him to learn this now rather than against someone the next step up.crusader wrote:Didn't see the fight....how competitive was it? I've seen a few comments on Twitter suggesting that it was a fairly close bout and that the cards were generous to Smith.
I did see Vera-Fielding and I'm not surprised by the outcome. Vera has looked past it for a while and his punch resistance has clearly been waning, as in his previous two fights he was stopped by Gabe Rosado and hurt by featherfisted MW Willie Monroe.
Fielding Vera was a disgrace. IJL completely lost control of it. Vera slipped, IJL too slow to react, vera tried to get up, fielding levelled him on his knees, vera continued to get up, IJL motioned to stop and wipe gloves etc & said something similar to vera, vera stopped and fielding levelled him with a left hook perfectly. Fielding opened up after that but not really landing, IJL jumped in early and stopped it.
Not fieldings fault at all.
