Looking better for ITV boxing

Post by stujones »

Nice to see ITV seem to be using more of the terrestial network for boxing, this is surely a result of the ratings success of the Harrison vs Williams "fight".

The Jennings vs Mutley card is being covered by both ITV4 and ITV1. ITV4 I assume is showing the main even (FIRST) as it is broadcast from 9 - 10:30. You then turn over to ITV1 for rest of the action (10:45 - 12:30).

Arthur vs Burns is on ITV 4 (2 hours starting at 10). No ITV1 coverage.

The Skelton vs Williams bill is as Williams vs Harrison - first part on ITV1, undercard on ITV4 - no time confirmed.

The Calzaghe/Nelson double bill is only on ITV1 - no time yet.

Lockett vs Rhodes in on ITV4 only - no time yet.

Guzman vs Harrison main event is on ITV1, undercard ITV4 (particularly pleased at this decision). No time confirmed.

That is a fair amount on the main terrestial network, I didn't expect the other fighters to be on the main network yet.

Plenty of action coming up! I was afraid the Williams v Harrison fight might have actually scuppered boxing on the main ITV channel!
