Clearly after watching Valdez he's not close to best thing at 130 right now.
Re: Oscar Valdez vs Takashi Uchiyama
Even though Valdez won by a landslide I was disappointed by his performance and I'd be surprised if Uchiyama didn't beat him at this point.

Agree 100 percent. I was disappointed as well. This was a showcase and they guy was just stoped by fringe world level guy. Valdez not ready right nowcrusader wrote:Even though Valdez won by a landslide I was disappointed by his performance and I'd be surprised if Uchiyama didn't beat him at this point.

Uchiyama would brutally stop Valdez.
Re: Oscar Valdez vs Takashi Uchiyama
I agree with the consensus; Valdez was underwhelming. He needs to lose the two handed female tennis pro grunt on every shot technique. He has decent footwork and head movement but he does not throw enough setup shots. He does not have the power to be relying only on his two handed grunting backhand.

His defense and maybe lacked of power on the world level maybe an issue once he steps up to that level.Tanzio wrote:I agree with the consensus; Valdez was underwhelming.
