Amir Khan ppv numbers

Post by tiny_acres »

Can someone please inform me of fights where Khan was on ppv
and what the numbers generated.
I'm trying to solve an argument with a friend over this. Thanks

Khan gets confused quite often. He is probably confusing the number of Spike TV viewers for his pretend PPV numbers, or something stupid like that. He thinks, (because he says it) that his name is mentioned among Floyd and Manny, that he is on that level, and above everyone else in boxing. Not sure if you would call that delusional bliss or if there even is such a thing. I prefer to just call him a conceited moron.

I don't think Khan has headlined any ppv's. However, he probably is a top 15 draw, which is pretty respectable considering how low his p4p rank is in comparison. On a related note, Khan apparently made about $1.5 million against Algieri.

His grueling all out war for the 168 pound title against Andre Ward was a PPV fight.

Instead of consistently ducking at least the 5 best available opponents since the Garcia loss, Khan's rematch KO win over Garcia and his father was a PPV success.

... remember when Khan or his father suggested a tournament or a match to decide who fights Khan ... right after the Garcia loss.

Khan says he will fight Brook in 2015 if he beat Porter, now he is telling Brook whatever Floyd has told him.
