Porter is a wrestler, not a boxer. I'd be insulted if I were Bhop with this comparison. Bhop could mix it up like Porter and wrestle in there but he could also step back and box your ears off. Bhop was tall for his division while Porter is a peanut. I can see how you made the comparison from an ugly boxing POV but Porter will never be as great as Bhop was.

Porter doesn't hit nearly as hard as Hopkins.

LOL to Porter being the next Hopkins, dude doesn't have half the craft of BHop, footwork is terrible, swings way too wide, lacks any real defense and is very predictable. Hopkins was crafty, he used angles, had a really good defense, timing was impeccable, great chin and heart.

Not saying that Porter doesn't have heart, a great chin (still up for ??) but there are many things he lacks and should never be compared to Hopkins.

This is one of the strangest posts I've yet read from Bnovelist.

I'm sure if any light heavyweight in history was able to do what Bernard did they'd have had long successful careers, the point is, they didn't because they aren't Hopkins.
