Broner is Most Ungrateful in the Sport of Boxing

Post by bnovelist »

He has name recognition, he has the looks, the persona love him or hate him, has connected ties the best fighter in the sport that gives him advice,

has great physical abilities but he stii manages to drink, party, blow up in weight in between fights, doesn't fight with hunger like he really wants

ALL THAT SH#T!! I swear Adrian Broner is waaaaaaaaaaaaay worse than Riddick Bowe. At least Bowe had a string of wins & a memorable 3 fights

with a prime evander that were epic. Does Broner really truly realize how good he really has it? OMG.... If he just stays focused doing what he

is supposed to be doing he could bank 50million PPV paydays after Floyd exits. WTF is Broner doing?????? Why can't he just take his craft serious

like Floyd, Manny, Crawford, GGG, Kovalev, Froch, Bradley, Canelo, etc... The last young prospect when I saw that he was drinking I knew his

career was over Rocky Juarez. At least drink after you've already established your career and fanbase like a Miguel Cotto. Why pull this crap at the

very beginning of your career? What is he doing? I am sorry to say Broner needs a strict Promoter like Bob Arum!!!! Arum would make sure Broner

trains or sit his ass on the shelf for the remainder of his contract. All the lovey stuff from Floyd and Haymon isn't working he needs some strict

guidance like hiring Freddie Roach who would be all over his ass. Or a Virgil Hunter that would get DEEP IN BRONER'S MENTAL MINDSET. From what

I am seeing is that Shown Porter is way more hungry, determined, and focused that's why he prevailed. He lives a clean lifestyle and everything.

Broner OMG is sooooo ungrateful. Even TYSON at least earned multi millions, built his name as the baddest before he really started messing up.

Broner is pulling this crap before he's even established. This is really sad. You can tell how contempt he was to knock Porter down which was the

only highlight that he did anything positive in the fight. I swear Broner needs a Virgil Hunter or Freddie Roach. His current trainer lets him do

anything obviously!

How come your paragraphs are always so messed up? Do you type into Word on a phone, then paste your verbal barf on here?

He really isn't that talented. People love to act like he has all this talent but is lazy, unfocused or whatever and that is why he isn't as good as people thought he would be. The reality, he simply isn't that good. Never was, never will be. He barely beat ponce de leon.

I look forward to making money for years to come betting against him.

He didn't beat Ponce De Leon.

Love him or hate him?

Who loves him? I think it's beyond silly to take his ridiculous shtick seriously enough to actually hate him, but this guy is not even relevant enough to be divisive, does he really even have any real fans?

I'm amazed that he even warrants a Bnov thread...

Broner is garbage, but hiring a dummy like Roach will not help him to improve. He needs a more technical type of Coach and we all know that Roach isn't a technical instructor looking at how MP wasn't able to cut off the ring or parry a jab vs FMJr.

Broner isn't as good as they have made him out to be but careful matchmaking has made him look better than what is truly the real deal with him.

I wasn't satisfied with the win by Porter because I felt he should've knocked Adrien out, too much holding and not knowing how to fight as a counterpuncher exposed us to the real AB (Average Boxer).

Whatever verbal slingshots you guys want to take at Broner, just remember---he's good for boxing.

Broner gets a lot of attention and comments, win or lose, and by his getting attention, boxing also gets recognized.

I hope Broner is around for many more years.

He's entertaining, knows how to use his mouth to promote a bout, he's tough, and can fight---maybe not yet at the elite level in the welter division, but certainly well enough to give anyone a rugged night.

No one that isn't already a boxing fan has any clue who adrien broner is. The fact that he now has 2 loses makes him even more irrelevant.

Yeah because a 3 weight division champion at 25 years old and a record of 30-2 is such a disgrace.

No he is not a legend but he is a solid fighter and far from irrelevant

He clearly has some talent and thus brings a measure of interest when he fights, but I think it's telling that perhaps his most impressive trait in the ring is his beard, a trait that one really can't "work" on in any meaningful way...That pretty much sums up his career to me.

Broner is just a kid. 24 years old and more talent that he knows what to do with. He commands his corner and his training camp and who's there to show him the way? Floyd Mayweather Jr of all people. Floyd's the luckiest boxer on the planet and threw enough crap at the wall that some of it stuck and he wound up making money none of us will make in a lifetime.

I look back at the Maidana fight when Broner tasted the canvas for the first time. He had to calm down his own corner. He was screaming for them all to calm down. It should be the other way around and it was sad to watch because i knew right then and there that this is a kid that is lost.

I've said before and i'll say it again. Broner has top 5 P4P skills but unless he finds someone to fear in that corner, he'll just be another boxer that didn't fulfill their potential. Abel Sanchez? Virgil Hunter? Someone to take this kid under his wing and show him that he should never lose to a caveman like Porter who's not even a boxer in my opinion. Maidana? Broner should have knocked his ass out. It's sad, it really is. And i think it's going to take a rock bottom loss or a prison stint to save this kids life and career.

I don't like watching fighters like Broner who grunt and grown with every punch they throw. It's like watching female tennis.
