Exactly how is it more in depth? To me it seems inferior in every way. BoxRec was by far the best boxing resource in the world. Like they say, if it ain't broke don't fix it.

It's much better now.

People just need a few weeks to get used to it, then they'll like it better than the old BoxRec.

OK, looking at it a little closer now, I found some of the things that I thought were missing from the new format, namely seeing what the opponent's record was in the last five fights at a glance, and seeing the opponent's weight. Those statistics are there after all. But still, tell me what you think is better about it now.

For example, look at a fighter profile page, then experiment with all the links to information. For example, click on "event" under the boxer's next fight and see the details.

Everything is better organized than before. You'll like it when you get used to it.

Look at this, at a glance, there's a lot of information: http://boxrec.com/title/champions

I like it. Hat's off to whoever made the effort to bring good changes to the site.

I still find it very visually confusing and miss it the way it was.

What's the point of the star ratings?

By the way, that link of yours...Is Luis Ortiz yet another silly "heavyweight champion", WBA version? First I've heard of this one. Boxing could be like pro wrasslin used to be, or for all I know still is, with every territory having its own "heavyweight champion".

Some of my own personal pet peeves are the "pound for pound" ratings given equal time to legitimate ratings, since they are really only lists of someone's favorite boxers; and the female ratings, since I think female pro boxing is a very bad idea, but that really has nothing to do with this new format vs the old format.

BoxRec take heed. Most readers like the old view better. Keep some of the new links but please return to the much easier to read, older format.

BoxRec thanks for tightening up the look of the "new" boxrec. Now you have the new features along with the former, more pleasing page. Good on ya.

One of the new features I appreciated was, when checking the latest results it was possible to do so by weight division. That feature has now gone - please bring it back.

What pisses me off most is that I can't look up the schedule for HW fights anymore.

Only "titles," and of course the title are mostly nonsense titles anyway.

I can search schedule by division just fine. Maybe just fixed?

This very newest look/feel is the best yet.

I really don't like the search for fighters database now, sorry guys. It seems more sensitive to spelling errors than the old system.

Not sure if this will make life easier but Google the fighters name and "boxrec", always been better for me than the inbuilt search.

If I want to see the schedule for NON-title Heavyweight bouts, how do I do it? Yes, this is a serious question. If you really show me how to do that, I'm totally fine if you call me a moron for not knowing how to do it. :OhYes:

Never mind it is fixed.

Still don't like the colors, but if you bring back the KO stat i.e.. 17(14)-3(1), when you look up the schedule, I may stop complaining for a day or two. :)

Everything seems pretty good to me.

Unlike some here, I'm not frightened of change.

Always look for ways to improve.
