David Fiddler Vs Tom Knight

Post by curtis wood »

I went in front of the BBBoC last Sunday and applied for my managers and promoters licence, I was granted them both and my first show as a promoter will be august 28th at dene park in hull, outside on the football pitch, David Fiddler will defend his area title against local boy Tom Knight, should be a good scrap, Hull is starved of a regular professional boxing scene, always produce very good amateurs but hull has never had a British champion, a crazy statistic, I'll be putting on 4 shows a year in hull and aim to bring through the next generation of talent in the area, if your in the area tickets are £30 or £50 for ringside, come and support the boxers, here's to a new challenge in my boxing career, Everybody's a winner promotions is the name of my new company

all the best with this, i like it when ex boxers get involved in organising shows.

hoepfully with your profile and contacts can make a good go of it and get some fighters names out there.

Great fight to start with, outdoor show too! Best of luck with it Curtis, can only echo what Gaz said about it being good to see ex fighters still involved.

Good luck with everything Curtis. When I played on Dene Park all those years ago, I never thought I'd ever see professional boxing take place in the middle of the pitch! :bag:
