Wilder has time to get in another fight before he has to start negotiating his mandatory with Povetkin in October (i think) so why not let him have a all american HW title defence against an entertaining buffoon with a punch. The show will likely be over before the end of the year so why not.

I hope Briggs does not get this fight.. I hate all that BS he does and it cheapens boxing to the WWF level... he does not deserve a fight on boxing skills or talent as well but we all know that controversy sells fights and Briggs may be good at that but I hate to see that shit get rewarded.. If I was Wlad I would tell him personally that I will fight him and then get him in talks and all excited and then tell him he never had chance to take the fight.. of course im mean as a snake at times
