I'm one of the first to defend Joshuas rate of progression on here (because I don't think there's any need to rush him) but lets be honest, Joshua hasn't taken on anyone of note.
I'd back whyte to deal with Airich, Bahktov and Johnson.
Perhaps not as impressively as AJ did.

No, it doesn't but i still fancy Whyte to beat any of those guys at the point AJ faced th.

Those names may be higher ranked and have faced higher level of opposition in their careers but at the point they faced Joshua they knew they were going in there as cannon fodder.
Whyte will fancy the job and believe he can beat a man he has a win against.

Whilst Whyte has faced no one of note (although he did KO that Brazilian guy a lot more efficiently and effectively than the highly touted Joseph Parker did 6 months previously) Joshua has faced some dreadful opponents and ones that were once a challenge but are on losing streaks and turn up with no ambition.

I envisage this being both fighters toughest to date.

Boxing is massively reliant on psychology and confidence and for all AJs immaculate preparation and professional team behind him, it will be the first fight he is entering with even the tiniest element of doubt. Whyte cleaned his clock through headgear a good few times when they fought and dropped him twice. So he'll know he could be dropped in this fight.

For what its worth I think it will be Joshua who prevails, but this should be a barn burner for as long as it lasts. Whtye empirically knows he has the power to hurt Joshua. Up until now AJ hasn't had to deal with that fact going into a fight.

At least Whyte will very likely be coming to win, unlike A lot of Joshua's recent foes like Johnson etc, he seems a confident type and the way he dropped Joshua a few years back means he can punch & will probably fancy he can repeat the trick.

You also have to take into account where these guys are in their respective careers and how much they had left.
Take Johnson, he was fringe world level but by the time Joshua fought him he was little more than a high level journey man, a punch bag with a few top names on his CV who was picked for his durability (and even that he could not provide on fight night)
