Buglioni Chudinov postponed

Post by ozzy1875 »

FW has announced that the Buglioni vs. Chudinov fight is off due to the Russian suffering a broken nose in sparring.
A new date will be announced at a later date, the show will still go ahead and Buglioni will feature on the bill.

I hope Frank has it under lock and key as I'd bet my next salary Eddie will make an offer for chudinov to face one of his guys when he recovers.

Why don't they just stick the Markham rematch on the bill?

Hrunov manages Chudinov, there won't be any problem, doubt he'll box on any Matchroom shows.

I thought Markham was fighting Jamie Cox.

No reason why Buglioni v Markham 2 can't happen now though :box:

How good was the first fight? Did Markham box out of his skin or was Buglioni poor?

No way will they put Buglioni against Markham again when he's next in line for Chudinov.

A broken nose can happen to anyone and I don't doubt it is a genuine injury but over the past year or two I would reckon more than half of fwank's main events have gone tits up. It seems to happen to his shows more than other promoters shows.

Yes make it for the WBA 'Interim Title' winner to fight Chudinov when he's recovered :yay:

A lot of people think Markham nicked it. I had it five rounds each.

Make your own mind up, but I haven't seen any improvement in Buglioni since he left Mark Tibbs. It was the probably the best I've seen Markham, but I think he's got more in him.

I'm sure Feigenbutz is fighting for that on the Abraham-Stieglitz undercard but I see no reason why the WBA can't invent another belt by next week

I'm sure they can, no one beats the WBA when it comes to creating meaningless 'titles' :TU:

And who's Feigenbutz (new one on me that) ?

He's a German fighter who fought on a Matchroom show last year, can't remember which one but it was one of those Matchroom-Sauerland swap scenarios, he's alright from what I remember,Vincent Feigenbutz

Thanks, must have missed that one  Just had a peep at his record, not only is he down to contest the Interim WBA next week but (are you ready for this?) the Global Boxing Union WORLD 'title' is also on the line :yay:

Wonder if Smigga will get the winner?

Hope Buglioni gets the shot eventually although I think he loses without question, fairly exciting fighter who I wouldn't mind seeing get a decent payday.

Wonder who they will get for Frank now.

I'm guessing it could be a Hungarian!! Maybe a 4-2-1 Croat sensation. Or a dangerous 4-32-1 Lithuanian!!

The first bout was excellent and both boxed well, within their respective styles. The two are well matched and would have close fights if they met 10 times. Frank iis far more fashionable and lucrative than Lee though and that's why Frank gets a title shot on the back of his showing and they look for Lee to get turned over by Cox.

Markham boxed really well and had him winning. His accuracy was excellent, but Buglioni's workrate was impressive.

I hope Frank boxes again before the date is re-scheduled because extra experience and confidence will only benefit him.
