I think we're all possibly getting a bit carried away here.

Whyte probably isn't going to be a massive step up to AJ, if at all. What he does pose though, is a different challenge. Not just physically, because I think we could all agree that AJ is massively superior in that department, but mentally. Hearn has already stated that 'the build up is going to be fierce'. So he's is clearly setting AJ up for his first proper 'run-in'. I mean Johnston (as much as he was in the twilight of his career) wound him up a little in the press conference, and I bet now he's wishing he hadn't done.

Personally I think that Whyte will probably do most the talking, and AJ will continue along his diplomatic route, and let his fighting do all the talking.

I have two questions;

1) What does Whyte really think he's getting out of this fight? I mean okay he's going to pick up his biggest cheque in his pro career so far, but this is ALL wrong for his development, especially considering he has a hand injury at the moment. He's 14-0 and wanting to fight a potential world champ?

2) Who is the bad guy in all this? AJ and Whyte clearly are a clash of personalities, but Whyte has come across as a fairly reasonable guy in interviews as has AJ....

Discuss.

That sounds like an order to me. Are you telling me what I should and shouldn't do?

Ignore him Keith, I think it's Rob Palmer who posts (ruins) at CHB forum, he's always staring pointless threads and 'Discuss' is usually his first post.

Blokes a complete spoon.

NB: And he's married to a tranny (nothing to do with this thread, but you need to know what you're dealing with here :TU: )

I would love it if whyte wins by ko and signs for cyclone promotions in the post fight press conferance. Hearn needs to be brought down a leg or two. He has turned sky into a matchroom propaganda tv channel.

You've only got 68 posts yourself, what usernames have you used in the past?

I used to be a regular on CHB, hence being familiar with Palmer.

Checkhookboxing, as well as Palmer your 'mate' Horse is over there as well (calls himself 'King Horse' for some reason?)

What the hell? My name is Rob Ingham, I have no idea who Rob Palmer is, I have literally just joined the forum.

There is absolutely no grounds for you to harass me about being someone I'm not, all I did was ask a few relative questions to the forum. If you don't want to 'discuss'. then don't, and keep your irrelevant opinions to yourself.

If putting 'discuss' on a post is discourteous or annoying I won't do it again. I thought it was a perfectly legitimate thing to do.

Apologies for my sarcasm and again, welcome to the forum. There are some great posters on here and some degenerates, like myself.

1. It's a crossroads fight. Whyte will be convinced he's going to win, so money aside, I'm sure he sees it as a win/win fight.

2. I think AJ will be the good guy, just because of his stature and the fact that he's developing a real following. Whether he likes it or not, Whyte will be labelled as a drugs cheat and his much smaller following won't make as much noise as AJ's
