Predict How Klitschko-Fury Will Pan Out.

Post by keithmoonhangover »

How do you see the fight going?

Wlad will start slow and land punches with ease. Fury won't land many shots and when he does, he won't hurt Wlad. It'll be a systematic beating until the fifth or sixth, when Fury goes down three times, bloody and beaten and the fight is waved off.

Klitschko wins on points narrowly in a very cagey fight. Fury leaves with enough pride to come back in future

Wlad establishes the jab and edges the first couple of rounds. Third round Fury's chin gets exposed throwing a lazy left hand and Wlad scores a one punch highlight reel kayo.

Perhaps.

Wlad makes an aggressive start, dominates the fight for as long as it lasts bashing up Fury round by round. An early KO is a strong possibility but i will say Wlad by KO rounds 4 to 6.

Fury to lose every second of the fight before getting brutally knocked out in the 3rd round.

I think fury could win, on the basis of him performing better than he's ever done, sticking to a sensible game plan, while it becomes evident on the night that wlad has declined due to age. The decline being noticed when fury starts to land on him from time to time, and as the fight goes on he gets into the fight more and stops wlad late on.

I think I am mixing hope with expectation there but I do think wlad is over the hill and the world doesn't know it yet.

I'll give odds of 100/1 on this if anyone's interested.

It'll more than likely be a cagey opening with very few punches thrown for a few rounds. Fury will eventually try and have a go and come unstuck. Wlad will catch him and he'll fold like a cheap deck chair! I hope I'm wrong as I'd actually like to see Fury win.

Honestly there's two outcomes for me - the likely one I think is going to be a quick fight, I think fury will have some success but he will be a victim of actually coming to fight, not unlike pulev. Wlad couldn't bully and lean on him because of his size and strength, and pulev came to fight so wlad was forced to come forward and put him away.

The second outcome is fury boxes on the back foot flicking out the jab frustrating wlad but ultimately loses the rounds by a few quality shots each round and either gets stopped in the later rounds by a big overhand right or loses a UD on points.

One thing I do stick to is that fury is one of the few credible opponents around - I would personally like to see him go in there and throw all caution to the wind and make it a brawl, jump all over wlad and rough him up.

Both fighters start super cagey.

The old guy (WK) creates some openings with his footwork and fails to pull the trigger for fear of what is coming back.

By about round 4 or 5 Fury realises he can bully him.

And does.

The end.

Fury starts quickly, flicking out his jab and moving erratically but doesn't do any damage. When they collide both clinch like lovers. By the third Wlad knows Fury can't hurt him and starts to land the jab, by the fifth round Wlad starts letting the right hand go and drops fury twice, eventually stopping him in the 6th of a fight he could have won in two if he wasn't so cautious

Fury try's to look "cute" by constantly switching between stances. Fiddles wlad about for a few rounds before a big right from the champ stops him.

Then fury fights price.

Not sure Fury can bully Wlad. Fury is big, no doubt but I suspect Wlad is much stronger. Tyson isn't up against a 6'2 16st, carrying a bit of timber, heavyweight here.

Wladimir wins by wide points decision. But I'm hoping that big Tyson can shock the world.

The bell rings for the first round, Klit marches towards Fury with anger in his eyes, Fury kisses the cross on his Gold chain and just as Klit gets into range Fury steps to the side. Crack! He throws a perfect hook which connects on Klits chin, Timber!!!! Kilt hits the floor with a huge thud, he's out for the count!

Fury's enormous dimensions, defensive liabilities and shaky chin are the components for an abbreviated night. The berserk narrative that "Wlad is getting better with age" resumes on CS.

Fury knocks him out in the first with a southpaw left, Vitali goes mad, so Big Shane sticks it on him on the sly, Gypsy John recognises someone who upset him 20 years ago and starts cutting up rough.

Wladimir was so good against Pulev, that convinced me he will turn it on in this fight as Fury carries a similar threat. I expect him to be too sharp on the inside for Fury, only question is whether Fury really goes all out to use his size and lean back + jab, which would at least make the fight go to the later rounds.

Tentative first 3-4 rounds, then Fury takes it to Wlad. Wlad starts landing the right hand, first clean connect Fury is down, gets up and gets knocked out around 6.
