Eggington-Foot
Should be a good one, this. I normally cheer all Jonp's fighters on but I have family from Sunderland so I'm hoping Foot does the business.

Re: Eggington-Foot
On my way to the arena shortly, this is top of the bill for me. I think Sam has a big advantage physically and has competed at a higher level so far. Good luck to The Savage tonight.

Re: Eggington-Foot
It's an excellent fight, and I don't normally give Fast Eddie credit.
Re: Eggington-Foot
Eggington looks relentless but Foot will meet him head on, I'm looking forward to this
Re: Eggington-Foot
Eggington is always good value
Re: Eggington-Foot
Eggington is really doing well, he's developing a really effective style and is strong, rough and brave. I thought its be a close hard fight but Sam made it pretty easy, he really picks it up halfway as well - it must be very demoralising for his opponent.

Re: Eggington-Foot
As I said on the RBR thread, it was a shame it didn't really catch fire & didn't live up to the hype, but it looked a great fight on paper so no complaints.

I had Eggington to win by stoppage @ 9/4.
But for a TD I get a big fat 0![[icon_witsend.gif] :witzend:](./images/smilies/icon_witsend.gif)

Re: Eggington-Foot
It depends what bookie you go with. Eg sky bet records a TD as a stoppage in that round. Points win is only if it goes full distance. Other bookies (bet365 I think) would have judged it a points win.ShadrachSimmo wrote:I had Eggington to win by stoppage @ 9/4.

Me too. Didn't realise at first. I thought there'd been an error and was about to contact the bookies and then the penny droppedShadrachSimmo wrote:I had Eggington to win by stoppage @ 9/4.

Re: Eggington-Foot
Probably needs a couple more fights, a good one to make in 6-12 months though, I'd give Eggington a big chance as he has the power to hurt Gavin and a lot of strength for only 21 years old so Frankie might struggle to keep him off for 12 rounds. But this is Frankie's level and I think he has the skills to nick a points win against a lot of the British level lads. I'd shade Eggington though if I had to bet on it as he's developing at a rate.palooka wrote:Sam will beat Frankie Gavin in 6 months.

Doctor fucked it up for you, the cut wasn't bad enough to stop the fight, was just looking for the opportunity to get him out of there.magnus wrote:Me too mate, felt the stoppage was comingShadrachSimmo wrote:I had Eggington to win by stoppage @ 9/4.

Eggington seems to enjoy it though, can't say the same about Frankie.TheCobra wrote:Probably needs a couple more fights, a good one to make in 6-12 months though, I'd give Eggington a big chance as he has the power to hurt Gavin and a lot of strength for only 21 years old so Frankie might struggle to keep him off for 12 rounds. Re: Eggington-Foot
It wasn't a great night for my bets, also went for Perez and Jenkins to win inside the distance. Quigg made me a bit backexpe wrote:Doctor fucked it up for you, the cut wasn't bad enough to stop the fight, was just looking for the opportunity to get him out of there.magnus wrote:Me too mate, felt the stoppage was comingShadrachSimmo wrote:I had Eggington to win by stoppage @ 9/4.

Re: Eggington-Foot
Eggington looking class again, still plenty time or improvement as well,he took control from the 2nd round onwards ,I had him winning every round,Foot just never looked like he was gonna get in the fight,Sam landing the right hand over the top time and again,I think a KO was looming
Re: Eggington-Foot
Actually Bet365 group it as KO, TKO, or Technical Decision. I had Selby to win this way against Gradovich.reggaereggae wrote:It depends what bookie you go with. Eggington looks a great prospect.
Him against Skeete would be a great fight.
Be a real 50/50.
