Charity boxing
Big night at Henry's gym, August 15th, Denzil Browne-Buster Keeton rematch, Rocket Ron Hopley's comeback and Henry Wharton. Be a great night. Anyone in the area, come along.

Billy Hardy on as well, now. Buffet included, £20.
Re: Charity boxing
Buster Keeton was a good fighter and a really hard hitter at light heavy, has he kept in shape after retiring?

Re: Charity boxing
He fought most of his career at Cruiser. Apparently he lost the plot a bit after retirement, became depressed, starting drinking and got really fat, but then he started coaching amateurs I believe and got his act together again.palooka wrote:Buster Keeton was a good fighter and a really hard hitter at light heavy, has he kept in shape after retiring?
I hope he sparks Denzil though, he is and always has been a total c*ck.
Re: Charity boxing
I'm glad he's turned a corner, always enjoyed his honest punchers style, don't know Denzil and don't think I can remember any of his bouts.Fuzzy Warbles wrote:He fought most of his career at Cruiser. The guys a troll and doesn't like me. Denzil is a good bloke and mates with John, there'll be no sparking of anyone. Exhibition stuff. Nostalgia for those who were around in the early 90's.
