Damn, hindsight is 20/20 and all but what I shoulda woulda coulda won on Teper! Price's confidence had never been the same since Thompson and Teper, for all his flaws was always a strong, bullish type who would pile on the pressure. What was Teper KO in the end, like 7/2? :witzend: Daaaammmn! Gutted. It also doesn't help I forgot it was on Friday.

I'm slightly annoyed with myself I didn't go with the Tepper win but i bet inside 9.5 rounds (as per my last post, couldn't get inside 12) @ 4/7 which was a give away price really. Its a good start. Hoping for a decent weekend.

Carroll is 1/3 to win on points on Paddy, but then the fight to go the distance is 9/4

Yeah this was a mistake I'd imagine. I stuck 50 on 9/4, heard he had won on points so thought I had made a nice few quid only to find out it went to a TD after 5 rounds. Fuming is not the word!!!

Good weekend with Teper and Cuenca winning as fairly big underdogs. The Nurse bet was a good one too, unlucky.

Carson Jones has opened as 9/4 in the Brian Rose rematch which is decent. If Jones is motivated and in shape, I'd peg that as a 50-50 fight.

Oswaldo Novoa is a 10/1 shot with an outside chance of beating Moises Fuentes. Both former minimumweight world-title holders fighting here at flyweight. Fuentes is the bigger, younger man but it's rare you get a 10/1 outsider worth a flutter.

He's not bad at all but he's made for Nick. I think he has questionable stamina and won't deal with Nick's pressure at all. I'm very confident Nick will stop him.

Anyone know much about Gary Corcoran? I seen Rick Godding has been made 5/2 underdog against him. Seen Godding once or twice and he's not half bad but I've never seen Corcoran and looking at his record he's pretty untested to date. Is Godding worth a shot or is there reason Corcoran is favourite?

Aberdeen are 11/5 to win tonight against reykia. The dons won 3-0 in the away leg so this price seems a bit strange to me. Anyone know a reason for it or is it just good value?

They'll probably put out half a team and play for 0-0.

Not sure why they would do that as it's still an opportunity to sharpen up. I'll check the teams though

I've stuck a tenner on them for a wee interest. It is a good price even if they do rest a few players.

11/10 Blackwell stoppage with Power, should be odds on in my book, Jones is decent and will prob win early rounds but Blackwell has the engine to get it done inside the distance for me

Agree that that looks a good price on Blackwell. Jones is making a big step up in opposition and has never gone past 6, this is over 12.

Beibut Shumenov points over BJ Flores at 5/4 might be worth a dabble. Flores got outboxed by Danny Green and I don't think Shumenov has the power to stop him. While Shumenov is coming up in weight, he looked in good condition at the weigh-in and is younger and probably has more ambition left.

If you don't mind tying up your money for a year and a half (and given current interest rates...), this is an attractive bet:

http://www.oddschecker.com/boxing-speci ... nd-of-2016

Joshua NOT to have won a world title by the end of 2016 at 5/6 (and the same the other way if you disagree). It specifies WBC, WBA, IBF, WBO only and doesn't count interim titles.

If Dillian Whyte and Kevin Johnson are the best guys Joshua faces in 2015 it's hard to see him getting thrown into a world title fight in 2016, Hearn is building him slowly, he's already bringing in the crowds and good money so no great incentive to step up the pace and he is somewhat injury prone which could slow him down further. Given Hearn's obsession with stadium fights, summer 2017 is about the earliest I see Joshua in a world title fight.

The biggest risks are that he wins the WBA 'regular' or that Wlad loses to Fury, who might not be as assiduous as Wlad in doing all the relevant mandatories, which could scatter the belts. Wlad has just signed a 5 fight TV deal which suggests there's not much risk of him retiring and vacating the belts whilst he keeps winning. Joshua isn't that high in the WBA rankings anyway and Chagaev is supposed to fight Oquendo and Lucas Browne as his next two.

11/10 for stoppage at Ladbrokes. This is a terrific price. I'll have some decent wedge on that.
