I think I've made a big cock-up in that I've amalgamated these records when quite clearly there are two different dates of birth.

Can someone please check and amend accordingly

I have Gerry Jones, born Wigan, on 17/01/1933 and fighting as a pro from 1956 to 1964 and having 51 fights. Gerald Jones, I have as from Merthyr, being born on 05/11/1943 and having the following record. 1962 to 1968 (35 fights, 16 wins, 17 loses and 2 draws). I will try to find their complete records amongst mine, but I know I don't have them on the PC as yet!

What makes it even more interesting is that they fought each other around 4 times, a commentator's nightmare!

I'm going through the British Boxing Yearbook 1987 that has full records of Post-War Britsh Title Challengers.......80s are complete, as are the 70s and most of the 60s.......I'm assuming 90s onwards are complete....?
