I remember when he smashed the guy who was his Mrs's ex fella. In the end, he should have been punished there and shown that he couldn't do whatever he wanted, and there would be consequences. Id back my mates when they were in the wrong 99 times out 100. Obviously there would be exceptions in extreme conditions but I'd stand up for them and then tell them the next day that they were wrong. I would fully expect the same in return.

Although people acquire hangers on as they rise to fame I would imagine that there are quite often people around who were there before it all started.

It's just a name. I upset people all the time without meaning it... A bloke in my taxi said he was Kurdish, I replied "in Turkey", he went mental, I threw him out of the car. I was making small talk with a guy up here for the races from Wolverhampton and said "where are you from, pal, Birmingham?", he lost the plot, I thought I was going to have to hit him.

Fair do's, I have never heard of anyone taking offence at the term. To me, it has always been like Scousers, Manc's, Geordies, Taff's.
