Was expecting -1200. At least.

Gonzalez is a flat footed scrub that has feasted on bums.
Pascal will whoop his ass. If you bet. Pound this. Pound it like a 12 yr old pounds his bird the first time watching porn.

Absurd line.

Pretty sure the wager won. My bet ticket says so. Laugh all you want. I'll laugh where it matters. At the bank. What people like you fail to understand is gambling is half what happens in the ring and half political. I understand this fully before placing wagers.

Did you see Pascal's hand after the fights? It was soo swollen it looked like he still had a glove on. ROFL :bag:
I gave Pascal 3 rounds as well plus 1 even.

Gonzalez seems like a fun fighter to watch, though I didn't see anything special that will make him a long term serious player near the top of the division. Pascal looks like he may be shopworn or at least had a really off night....he's looked better against what I consider a higher level of opposition.

The Fudge Palace? Is that some euro lingo to slight homosexuals? Get better material.

The how doesn't matter. Only the what matters. A win is a win is a win. You don't cash a ticket when you're dead wrong. A dead wrong is never a winner.

Gonzalez had a lot on steak, he did get a bit emotional after the fight. I hope he gets a good deal on his next matchup.

Your right all that matter its in "win" column. I was sure once the first score was called and its a UD that my ticket was cashed. I was incorrect and
I take no solace in the fight Gonzalez should have got the decision.

Your gutless obsession with euros is only matched by your delusional arrogance. I'm from Chicago btw, a place where chumps like you sleep under cars because even the wino' s would walk right through you and gank your undeserved $.. keep being proud of being paid to be wrong, and living proof that not every ejaculation deserves a name.

I scored it a draw. To me, it was one of those fights where the cuban wons his rounds cleanly, while the rounds I gave to pascal were generally pretty close, I just happened to favor pascal.

I don't converse nor deal with "wino's" b/c I live in the nice, cushy suburbs courtesy of a masters degree and successful business made from busting my ass, and likely made more money gambling alone this yr than you earn in a year. Arrogance? Perhaps. Delusion? Ha. No. Other than that you're dead on about me.

Congrats, at least you get to keep what you earned legitimate or not. Some of us don't. So the arrogant celebration of money unjustly earned, celebrating a lie, is not what a man does. It doesn't say that on your master's degree does it. Life finds a way of handling things, enjoy what you have while you still have it. Hopefully it doesn't all come crashing down, even I wouldn't want to see that. And I lived through it.

Fair enough. To that end - I've been on the other side of horrid decisions that were worse than this. Lara-Williams, Pac-Bradley I, got crushed when Sakio Bika was DQ'd in a fight while knocking a guy out. Lost a ton when Hopkins faked an injury against Dawson, destroying a big over rounds bet. So I'm not gonna give it back when one goes my way. I know what the other side feels like.

I'm sorry for going off, that wasn't right. I get you. But Money isn't everything and it never will be. This is a guy with literally nothing telling a guy with what sounds like everything that. I'm more proud of saving people's lives, or defending the powerless and destitute, than any monetary gain. Some people call it stupid when I say I'm rich because of that. I say what is rich. I don't know if I've got enough years left to gain a fraction of what you have, I doubt it. And it'll probably be a solo ride, like it always has been. But what I've done, can't be taken away. There's no price on that.

God bless you on your journey, sir. As far as money goes, I know some people who are far richer than me who are absolutely miserable for a myriad of reasons.

I had it a draw.
Was a great fight, I'd like to see them have a rematch. Looks like the wars are catching up with Pascal.

Not the first time I've said this recently, and I'm sorry to bump an old topic, but I'm a month behind and just watched the fight this weekend. Managed to avoid spoilers, too. I had it a draw. Thought it could have gone 97-93 either way considering the close rounds. I was definitely surprised that it was unanimously for Pascal, though. I felt like if they were going to slant it one way or the other, it would probably be with the guy that was generally doing the stalking, which was Gonzalez. I though Gonzalez clearly won rounds 1, 3, and 9. Thought Pascal clearly took 6, 7, and 10, and that the rest could have gone either way. I had 2 and 4 for Pascal and 5 and 8 for Gonzalez.

I do think the commentators, as they often do, were slanting it unintentionally to the audience. They would call hard shots from Gonzalez while failing to notice that those shots missed and that Pascal caught him with sneaky clean shots in between. Very interesting fight. Gonzalez seemed to have gotten winded and arm-weary for virtually the entire second half of the fight, while Pascal's legs started looking iffy around the same time. Seemed like anything could happen at any given moment.

not everyone who boxes in cuba is a product of their national system and there is a lot of variety
at the local level. there are good boxers who don't have the style the coaches are looking for in
international competitions who nobody outside of cuba ever hears about. did he ever win a cuban
title at any level?

I don't remember the details too well, but I think the profile HBO did on him said more or less that he was on the national team and would have been an Olympian except that he was suspended for disciplinary reasons.
