But no ward isn't A side in any negotiations

If people think GGG only does 350k PPV sales
I guarantee ward wouldn't even sell 350 ( without the k) in Oakland on a PPV

He can't even get people to watch him for free

GGG doesn't fear ward for a second - people are delusional
No one mentioned Floyd, and the whole industry uses that term, A side.

And that would be Ward, since GGG needs him more than Andre needs Golovkin, at least until Triple G actually fights an elite guy.

Call whatever side what you want. But if a GGG/Ward match is made, you can bet it will be Andre that dictates terms.

GGG doesn't need Ward. After success of his PPV against Lemieux, he will have more options at MW. He may be able to become an undisputed champion within a year.

Ward needs to accept all around 50:50 or negotiate another catch-weight or full 168 at the expense of his purse share.

You are assuming it will be this overwhelming success.

I think it will be respectable for a 1st PPV, but nothing to indicate he is an elite type draw.

That being said, I am hoping you are right and I am wrong.

So, you don't have a problem with catch weights as long as FMJ negotiated it?
Wow dude, I'm not sure WTF is your problem?? I clearly stated this:

If any fighter with anything to lose is stupid enough to agree to a fight for the sake of money by adding unnecessary stress to themselves then that's their problem

What part of the "ANY FIGHTER" you seem to think only amounts to Floyd?? Why did you even bother to bring Mayweather into this debate?

It's like you're fishing for some BS debate with me about Floyd when this thread isn't about him at all, sure people can use his name to compare him in this weight issue between GGG, Ward and whoever but honestly this isn't a Mayweather thread and you shouldn't come here trying to ruin it for all the others on this forum by trying to start sh*t with me regarding something you are ASS-uming I'm ok with.

Going by the upward projectory of his last few sold out shows, I think that Triple G will sell around 400K PPV's at the very least. The guy generates so much excitement that even big black entertainment stars are coming out to see him fight. The guy is a star in the making and everyone that sees him fight knows it.

For me the Lemiux fight will be the first fight were Golovkin crosses over from Hardcore Boxing fans only knowing him to then be known by the wider public.
His next fight after will be bigger again, I wouldn't be surprised if it was Quillin or Lee after.

Using your analogy to make an excuse for GGG doesn't exclude him from being a duck. Now we have Abel Sanchez wanting a CW talking about scared.
Let's get back to what you originally said. Using YOUR suggestion that Team 3G is "scared" for even the suggestion of the possibility of a catch weight, was Cotto scared of Geale? Was Pac scared of ODLH? Was FMJ scared of GingerHead? Was Ward scared when he had a LHW come down to SMW?

So, according to your logic, anyone who is lighter and negotiates a catch weight is a coward and everyone who agrees to come down to that weight for the money is a moron. Right?

Cowards v morons

3G doesn't qualify for either category, yet.

Golovkin is the most exciting fighter to watch in the world right now. I don’t see why people are criticising him for not fighting a guy bigger than he is.

We’re boxing fans. Sit back and enjoy the career of a super talented fighter who has an exciting style for once.

Surely you can’t duck a guy who is not even in your weight class…
