AIBA pro boxing

Hello, what is the difference between apb and professional boxing matches? Rules? gloves ?

I know one is that they are still eligible for the Olympics.

If you box in the APB, you can't box outside of the APB and as mentioned you can still box in the Olympics. It is AIBA's way of putting the ABC's out of business. If that was to happen, it will take many years. As Vegas is the Meca of pro championship fights, it helps to have US boxers and right now, they are not signing with APB. Haymon is signing the majority of them.

aibf apb is licensed professional boxing, just limited to former elite amateurs that only fight
each other to retain their national team eligibility. the boxers have pro licenses, the cards
are sanctioned by the commissions as pro cards, the promoters are licensed to stage the
pro cards. it is pro boxing. the aibf world series of boxing was also licensed pro boxing
