Jamie Moore's US debut = off?

Post by stujones »

Unfortunately it looks like Jamie Moore's intriguing US debut vs the faded world title challenger J.C.Candello is off. Boxrec have knocked it off their schedule. Teddy Reid has taken his place.

Its still an intriguing fight, but I'm gutted its no longer Moore fighting Candelo.

Jamie Moore is still fighting on that bill in the USA.

Also there is still a chance albeit slim one he could fight Candelo.

The Candelo vs Reid fight is now being reported on a number of websites - not just in the schedule here.

It looks like he will not get any TV time, unless he gets the fight with Candelo. An IBF Featherweight title fight is topping the bill, with Candelo vs Reid (probably) as chief support. Doubt ESPN will show much more than that.

Well its now definately not happening, it might have been nice if Team Moore would have informed the media (and boxing fans via forums) that it was off.

Sounds like JC would be an excellent opponent for this resheduled debut... scored a controvesial draw over Teddy Reid. Reid definately has a little in the tank, but it seems that Candelo was unlucky not to get the win.
