Hasn't everyone seemingly been linked to that fight now?
Browne
Briggs
Fujimoto
Wawrczyk
H. Fury
Arreola
Love

Pretty sure there's been like 3 or 4 others as well

Wawrzyk is a Haymon fighter, was at the Garcia fight last night, and while there had a stare-down with Wilder. If they can get him a top 15 WBC ranking I think it will probably be him.

Also, September 26th is about 8 weeks notice rather than 4. Despite that and as flawed as Wilder is, I don't think it would be a good move for Hughie to take that fight unless it was a very nice payday.

Sounds like Joseph Parker has been linked to the fight as well...

...I assume everyone being given offers knows that Povetkin is their mandatory if they win...

I would guess it's all leverage for his hype machine.

"Offer" the fight to everybody, so when you announce your fighting Prince Humperdinck nobody can complain since everyone else is ducking.

Clearly too soon for Hughie but Wilder needs a credible opponent very soon.

I don't give him any chance whatsoever im afraid. I don't rate Wilder much but he would blast Hughie out no problem at all.

It would have been a chance to beat Tyson's youngest World Champ record though, that they stopped talking about in near-record time.

man against boy.

Wilder has many faults, but he at this moment in time is several steps ahead of Hughie, and maybe always will be.

That is a massively uninspiring list of names for supposedly "the next great heavyweight champ" to be defending the illustrious WBC championship against.
If I had to pick from that list, I'd have to go with Browne, he at least has a punchers chance.
Although Briggs wwould bring entertainment to the press conference.

Behave, Keith. When the time is right, they'll get it on. It says more about Wilder that he's even asking for this than it does Hughie.

Ha'way Mickie, we both know plenty of travellers. The Fury's have always said they fight people 'tomorrow if they had the chance.

I cant believe that the "world champion" is calling out a 20 years old prospect. Still Fury should calls the bluff. Lets see if Wilder doesn't back out. If Hughie can take a punch he can beat Wilder.

It's embarrassing, imagine if Lewis did this? Still if there is good money he should take it, it won't harm his rep if he looses as he's only a kiddy.
