Shawn Porter challenges Danny Garcia come see me eager to answer all of his words

Post by psychod1986 »

Porter said he would fight Garcia anywhere Vegas are Brooklyn,Porter also heard that Danny & Angel said that he's tailor made for Garcia & he's eager to answer all his words he said.I smell beef,i notice that Porter don't respect Danny Garcia, for the fact, that he fought Paulie Malignaggi.Danny said that he didn't say anything bad about Shawn but what the hell if Shawn & Danny want the fight,Al make it happen. That would be a good matchup and could make waves in the division.

I think it would be a great match-up. Too close to call for me. I would lean towards picking Porter, but one thing about Garcia is he always seems to find a way to win.

That's the key for me, he's one of those guys who pulls it out the bag.

Not the very best technically, good but not great in a number of departments and even the power he once had doesn't seem quite as obvious now.

But he know's how to win, a very good alrounder who can produce when he needs to.

Porter is a good fighter too but far from the best in and around that division. It would be a close fight but one where I'd back Garcia to win (purely because I've backed him to lose so many time and been proven wrong so many times)

Who wouldn't you back him against then?

I would pick Garcia to win because Shawn Porter can't fight on the outside & always looking to slug on the inside.I think Garcia will find a way to adjust to that an find a way to outbox Porter.Believe it or not Garcia is the better boxer with the better boxing IQ.If Broner could handle the welterweight power, which he can't he could have outbox Porter also,& could came up with a decision win.

Well common sense has to be applied here. But the Porter fight would be a close one, so I'm not going against Garcia for this one.

I had Khan and Matthysee to beat him comfortably and was wrong on both calls. Both were better fighters at LWW than I think Porter is at WW, so I'd have to give Danny the nod. The only reservation I'd have is that Danny is coming up in weight and has had some less than startling performances in the last couple years but he rises to the occasion when he has a real challenge and as I said, he know's how to win.

I see Garcia knocking Porter out. Porter does't box, he mugs guys in there and makes it a wrestling match. Garcia would make him pay for blindly running in with his head dow.

Garcia looked absolutely jacked this weekend. I know he's going up in weight but the gained muscle since the last time we saw Garcia has to be called into question at some point. Did anyone else notice that?

No, other guys like brook and bringer make the fights wrestling matches with their excessive holding.

Called into question? They did the random testing for the fight, so what else can they do? I can see it if he refused to be tested, or said he was afraid of needles.

Garcia looked good at 147, he might have looked jacked since we are used to seeing him make 140 which drained him. Also, Paulie looked small in comparison. Mallignaggi is a great fighter and was a good fighter but at 147 he just cannot generate the kind of power to keep hard hitting guys off him. Glad he is calling it a day. Al Haymon has to start putting his fighters in with guys that can do more then dent a pillow, power wise. Paulie was light hitting at 140 but at 147 he had no effect on Garcia. Mora knowing down Jacobs tells me that he would be in trouble against GGG or Quillan. I can assure you that Haymon keeps his fighters way from GGG. Its a shame.

Most testing is BS so I was just wondering how long before people were accusing DSG as fans often do when a boxer puts on a bunch of muscle in a short period of time. Maybe it's just me that noticed it. He's always been pretty ripped up but he just seemed a lot bigger Saturday night. I bet all of the elite boxers have dabbled at one point in their careers. I know Angel accused LP of PEDS after the last fight so maybe they figured they might as well.

Purely speculation, I know nothing really. I should probably just shut up I guess

I can see Porter winning this fight all day long.

He'd be too strong for Garcia, Garcia wouldn't be able to outbox him from the outside for 12 rounds which is what he'd need to do.

For every Porter performance it just makes Brooks win look better and better.

Danny won't fight Porter. He knows he can't win.
