Black Flash Promotions Presents...Summer Eclipse

BBTV, British Boxers present a night of professional boxing featuring Black Flash Promotions, Live from the Middleton Arena in Manchester. showcasing some of the brightest talent from the Collyhurst and Moston Boxing Club.

Starring on the bill will be, Young hot shot Zelfa Barrett, who is impressing in his pro career to date having exploded on the scene and already involved in his 6th pro fight in just 9 months. Barrett, 22, will be topping the bill for the first time as a pro!

Another exciting prospect from the camp is Sean Ben Mulligan, who will have his 3rd pro fight. Michael Gomez Jnr. son of the former champion and name sake, will have his 4th pro fight. Gomez is a slick boxer with skills a plenty and has the talent to go all the way.

Former Cameroon Olympian and Commonwealth games medallist Blaze ‘The Lion’ Mendouo will be having his 2nd pro fight on the card and is a boxer proving very popular. At his last fight he brought an army of vocal support and he promises to always give a performance to make them happy, catch this lad in action, he is ready to take the cruiserweight division by storm!

Making up the bill will be a local Middleton favourite and highly regarded prospect, the unbeaten Alex Rutter. A big future is predicted for Alex and he is a welcome addition to an already nice looking bill, featuring some top class prospects, all who hope to follow in the traditions of the great Mancunian boxers of the past and present.

Pre fight entertainment comes from female vocalist Emelina James, who is joined by her dancer Geraldine. Plus a special guest appearance from local hip-hop artist J Chambers.

Yeah real shame about Ben, hope he's okay. Great see Michael Pass again, he really took control at the end so credit to him AND the promoters for their "refund or free ticket next time" stuff.

How come the main event was cancelled - I preseme that this was Barrets nephew ( I can't even type his nickname !.....).

Also, what happened with Mulligan ? - I see from the results section that won his fight.

I understand what Pat is trying to do, but on paper he needs to provide more competitive fights.

Last night all 4 home fighters (non of whom had a loss on their record) all won against opponents with big losing records.

Agree on the matchmaking I long since stopped going to shows that feature prospect against losing journeyman which is a pity as Middleton is just down the road.
