Gaetan Hart vs. Irish Gil King - did it happen?

Guys, got a dilemma here if anyone can help out. Boxrec has a result of Gaetan Hart knocking out Gil King in 3 rounds on a fight card in Hull, Quebec on May 3, 1976. I say this did not happen.

1) King's last fight that I know of was in '74 against Clyde Gray and then retired.
2) As near as I can remember, King had been shot in the face by this time and wasn't going to fight anybody or he may have been in jail by this time, but my timelines may be off.
3) King was a welterweight in '74. But in '76 when this fight was supposed to have taken place, Hart was a lightweight maybe a jr. welter at best.
4) My old '82 Ring Record Book shows Hart stopping one Jimmy King on this date.

I'm inclined to believe the RRB on this one, that it was Jimmy King. I just don't recall Gil ever fighting again after Gray. I know Boxing Illustrated would carry a lot of small show results or if anyone has access to Quebec results. I'm stymied. Don't think it happened but outside of my RRB (which could be faulty), can't produce anything else. Anyone have anything??

Wouter, I don't know if the format change reinstated that bogus result, but it has appeared once again after you had changed it as Gaetan Hart fighting Gil King. Like I said in the previous post from a couple of years back, I don't think Gil King was actually able to fight again. He had been shot in the face and may also have been serving time at this juncture. And even if he did come back somehow, he probably would have been a jr. middle not a lightweight. Again, my old RRB from '82 shows Hart fighting a Jimmy King.
