He's with Oscar no way will he be on the card, the last fight will be Spence vs someone like Collazo.
FML. I hope all 10 ppl who order this fight enjoy it then

One thing for sure....Mayweather vs Berto will be more competitive than the Pacquiao fight was. :OhYes:

Surely this must be some sort of elaborate practical joke? Who is going to buy this PPV? Why would CBS/Showtime even agree to it?

But if I have to pay for it I will pass.As a freebie I was satisfied.

Me too, i read somewhere that Floyd still wanted the fight to be free but Showtime said no way

Floyd -10000 at the books for this one.
Let's hope this is just a tune up for his final fight, this would be a really terrible sendoff.

Bradley
Garcia
Khan
Brook
Porter
Thurman

Well i guess after looking like complete dogshit in his last 3 fights Floyd feels the need to significantly drop his level of opponent, but i'm betting he'll clinch and run anyway.

Infact we could have the situation of 2 men leaning back from each in a phillyshell stance, just staring at each other, while Dave Morretti awards Floyd's better poise and form  :OhYes:

Pathetic PPV event to end his career. I'm sure that he'll experience his worst PPV numbers ever though i'll be an idiot and probably buy it just for the historical aspect of it all.

I'm sure that we will force fead some of Mayweather Promotions horrible fighters in his stable. Someone like Ishe Smith, J'Leon Love or Chris Pearson. Maybe all of them. I just puked in my mouth.

You honestly believe he will retire after this. Wake up mate.

So he's going to get to 49-0, and then retire when he's one shy of beating it.

don't be so bloody ridiculous. Unless he get's a career ending injury, or somehow manages to get beat, he will have at least one more fight.

He might, i don't think he cares about Marciano, infact i don't think he cares much for boxing now.

If he blows through a sizeable amount of cash in investments and gambling between now and sept 16 he could be tempted by Pac 2 as he'd be a free agent having fufilled his Sho contract.

So you don't think that going for Marciano's record would enhance the PPV figures he would do for whatever fight he might have after this.

Seriously?

We are talking about a 40 year old guy here. How much longer could he go on? If I had to put a bet on it then i'd say that he fights one more fight and Cinco De Mayo and ends it on his favorite weekend to fight and gets the record and the 50 on his record. I don't think there's any way he fights more than that though unless something goes terribly wrong with his finances.

So I say he does get to 50 and his last fight is next May against another Berto type boxer.

haha good come back, clearly you need to watch boxing because thats what floyd does BOX not run, please reply when youve gotten over the Pacman loss it must be a difficult time for you :KO: .

im a realist i can openly admit if one of my favorite fighters lose, but it doesnt make me bitter, some people need to stop crying.

Yet i still once again agree this is a poor fight :salut:

So it becomes another bullet point in a PPV sales pitch but it's not a motivating factor. The guy already laughably thinks he's better than Robinson nevermind Marciano, anyone who thinks Floyd would take 1 more fight just to beat a meaningless non-record is seriously underestimating his ego. I've heard Floyd talk a lot about the standard of fighter coming through too, i'm not sure why so much is made of the 49-0 records.... Calzaghe could have beaten it if he wanted to. Roman Gonzalez is 43&0 and he's only 28. Golovkin is 33&0 and fights 4 times a year in a division where nobody is anywhere near him.
