Chisora after his KO win called out Erkan Teper
After his quick KO win today, Chisora said he wants to fight "the guy who just beat David Price"
Interesting 50-50 matchup.

A prime Chisora would have been a really interesting match up for Teper...think Dereck's on the slide though personally and hasn't got got enough left for a guy like Teper.

He mentioned Helenius rematch on IFL
The Teper fight would be good though

Re: Chisora after his KO win called out Erkan Teper
I've never been Chisoras biggest fan but I felt for him after the Helenius fight. I would like to see him try and get a bit of revenge there. Helenius is just back himself after a long lay off so that could be interesting. Teper will be flying after his win against Price so I'm not sure if Chisora has much of a chance there at this stage in his career. He'd probably make it entertaining though.
Re: Chisora after his KO win called out Erkan Teper
Two guys who usually don't take a step-back....seems like it could be a good one and while Chisora looked poor against Fury he hasn't yet shown that he can't still beat people like Teper.

Chisora looked in decent shape tonight
Re: Chisora after his KO win called out Erkan Teper
chisora v teper would be a cracking fight and i'd back chisora to win it if can get in the same shape as last night. he looks like he is enjoying himself more too.
Re: Chisora after his KO win called out Erkan Teper
Chisora stopped Lobjanidze quicker than both Helenius and Whyte did, but surely he would have been better served with an opponent who could give him some decent rounds. Looking at the KO losses on his record it was almost a given that Chisora would end it early so what purpose does it serve scheduling a ten-rounder like that?
As for Teper, I think Chisora wins that one quite handily, he needs three or four decent fights against guys like that ranked 10-20 just to get a bit of a win streak going...

In other words; "I want a title shot".Freedom2013 wrote:After his quick KO win today, Chisora said he wants to fight "the guy who just beat David Price"

With CJ now training Chisora you can now gaurantee that he will be in good shape and will be behind a good jab! don't be surprised if he gets better than he was.
He is only 31 afterall

That win will do Chisora the power of good. I'd sooner them not rush straight back in at a title shot and getting a winner run together, but I'd give a confident Chisora a decent chance against Teper.
Re: Chisora after his KO win called out Erkan Teper
He's only 31 but he has a good few miles on the clock IMO. He's never been the hardest to hit. He took a hell of a doing off Fury and that must wear you down.higgs88 wrote:With CJ now training Chisora you can now gaurantee that he will be in good shape and will be behind a good jab! don't be surprised if he gets better than he was.

I get the impression there was something lacking motivationally in Chisora - he looked almost disinterested during the Fury fight - he certainly put in a more posititive performance first time around, but was not in decent shape enough to do much.Stuarty30 wrote:He's only 31 but he has a good few miles on the clock IMO. I'm surprised he is only 31 - I suspect however, that he isn't really in love with boxing, so I can't see him getting his act together totally.

I get what you mean yeah. Fury isn't a world beater but he beat Chisora up without breaking sweat or moving out of first gear!jamesmcdonnell wrote:I get the impression there was something lacking motivationally in Chisora - he looked almost disinterested during the Fury fight - he certainly put in a more posititive performance first time around, but was not in decent shape enough to do much.Stuarty30 wrote:He's only 31 but he has a good few miles on the clock IMO. So he wasn't up for the second Fury fight and was out of shape for the first! You just won't have it that Fury is just a lot better than him!
Re: Chisora after his KO win called out Erkan Teper
Limited skills on the short side and limited power if anything he has already overachieved in boxing. May do as well again though. I just hope he knows when to quit.

Certainly he is based on the evidence of their performances. I'm saying that Chisora is a bit of a strange dude - he seemed to do well against Helenius, and put in a very good performance, and was it seems in good shape, but he rarely seems to put it all together.mickey1975 wrote:So he wasn't up for the second Fury fight and was out of shape for the first! Perhaps though it is just a case that Fury is all wrong with him.
Re: Chisora after his KO win called out Erkan Teper
Interesting fight.
Chisora has fallen short several times but he's never shown that he can't get it done at what appears to be Teper's level. Similarly, while Teper doesn't seem to have the ability to ever be one of the division's top few fighters I don't believe there's much to suggest that he couldn't beat this version of Chisora. They also both have aggressive, never take a step back styles, so I think the chances are good that it would be an entertaining fight.
