there's far too many of these fall-outs in boxing. What has the Board implemented or done in order to make things more transparent? Anything?
You can bet that if you went to Mars and came back in 5 years there's be some boxer at court with his promoter, kapish?

I know that most Employment Tribunal Courts are stuffed full with backlogs but there seems to be quite a high proportion of boxing relationships that end in disagreement, compared to work generally.

i went to a solicitor once over an employment situation. I wanted to know where I stood before taking my former employer to tribunal. After about 20 seconds he asked me what the manager's name was. I thought does it matter, but I just told him it. Then he asked me how to spell it and wrote it down ........I thought can't you just listen for about 2 minutes Jack and just say yay or nay?
Anyway, this went on. I was informed that for 15 grand they'd take my case - win or lose - and represent me. Cost me 150 quid to hear that but he still never answered my question.

Can you just imagine walking into a solicitors office and asking them to give a contract the once over ?

"Certainly sir, who is the contract with?" - if you then said it was with one of the biggest boxing promoters in the world who has had thousands of contracts over the last 30 years and has been in court on many occasions etc etc ..... I wonder what their response would be ?
