Sky box office - Gavin vs Brook card.

Post by stujones »

I appreciate that this technically breaks forum rules re DVD trading. I'm just wondering if anyone has a copy of the Brook vs Gavin PPV (in full) that they could loan me (happy for a person to PM to negotiate ;;-) )

The thing was my Sky broke on the day of the PPV (all true) I had ordered it but it would not play back. Sky won't give a refund because I attempted to play back and it said "viewed" on my sky box - so as far as Sky are concerned I viewed it, so I have to pay for it. Even though the Monday after a Sky engineer came over and said "your Sky is fecked" and proceeded to exchange my Sky box so I lost any chance to view the PPV (as a PPV) and other recordings I had stored on the Sky box (e.g. DeGale vs Dirrell card).

I know I can get most of the bill (although not all) via Sky on Demand, but it is not the same. Anyone willing to help out drop us a PM.

PPV shows normally won't record. All that you get is a still of the advert for the show, at least that's what you get on Virgin.

Funnily enough I have just watched the Ryan/Hibbert fight on you tube and I know the Cardle/Evans one is on there as well, although I know what you mean its not the same as having everything to hand on a disc.
