Geale is making the move up to SMW. Apart from a few domestic scraps.
I would like to see him fight Martin Murray, who is also at SMW. Should earn both some solid coin and could be built up with Commonwealth rivalry.
Anyone agree?

Geale mentioned Murray and Abraham when interview last night at the Foley fight. Either would be a good opponent. Abraham holds the WBO title too.TimFreza wrote:Geale is making the move up to SMW. Apart from a few domestic scraps.

Yes but he will probably fight Dunn. Hopefully a Murray fight happens in the future.TimFreza wrote:Geale is making the move up to SMW. Apart from a few domestic scraps.

Martin Murray, whom Daniel Geale mentioned as a possible opponent only the other day, will fight next on September 5th at the First Direct Arena in Leeds, England. Murray does not have an opponent as yet, but his bout is on the same card as the Joel Brunker vs Josh Warrington Commonwealth title fight.

Hard to imagine him fighting Abraham after the GGG debacle.Redback Rasta wrote:Geale mentioned Murray and Abraham when interview last night at the Foley fight. Either would be a good opponent. Arthur would crush him.
Re: Who Would you like to see Geale fight at Super Middleweight?
I think Arthur could beat GGG at 168. The guy has insane power. He just doesn't let his hands go. And when he does, he looks awesome, as the last Steiglitz bout. The Raw Prawn wrote:Hard to imagine him fighting Abraham after the GGG debacle.Redback Rasta wrote:Geale mentioned Murray and Abraham when interview last night at the Foley fight. I'm a fan of Abraham. Always turns up super fit. He's a no frills sort of fighter with a rock solid defence
and some very heavy artillery.
Would beat Geale and Green on the same night.

Big call. Insane power is GGG's middle name. I hope he stays at 160. But should he go up who knows how much more powerful he could be?TimFreza wrote:I think Arthur could beat GGG at 168. Despite his conservative output I think Abraham would be dropping and stopping many more opponents at 168 if he had insane power---it's not as if he hasn't been landing. He was also nowhere near as impressive at 160 as GGG is.

No one with any power that's for sure
Re: Who Would you like to see Geale fight at Super Middleweight?
I think daniel will be looking straight to the top for fights. Abraham and the like are not out of the question. He has never shirked a fight and has always fought the top guys when the opportunity arises. Im not sold on Abraham's power at S/Middle. It was massive at middle.

Groves first defence, if Groves wins mind?
