All that this proved to me was that it was a slight tear and not a full tear. I had a slight tear in my Rot.Cuff two years ago and it's a minor surgery. Arm in a sling for 2 weeks and then it rebounds rapidly. I never had PT either but it was no miracle that I was golfing in a month, it just wasn't a major surgery. A slight tear wouldn't weaken you or affect your strength, it would just make some movements painful is all.

This just proves to me that the shoulder has little to do with Manny's performance in the ring with Floyd. It's a lame excuse to use and really disappointing to hear as a fan. The way that a person handles defeat tells you all that you need to know about a person and I'm not impressed, Manny.

It's just utter balls - they are trying everything to recycle his reputation, and sell us a rematch. There was no mention at all of it when he was interviewed post fight, just the horseshit that he believed he'd won (he didn't believe it) - then they gave him the script to follow, and the rest is history (baloney.

At this stage, I would not be that surprised if Khan beat Manny - as chinny as he is, Pacquaio is not a monster at 147, he has hardly stopped anyone in the last 5 years, I think Manny is nowhere near the fighter he used to be - he's good enough to beat most, but Khan might have the tools to outpoint him if he fights very focussed. Manny's footwork is quite predictable, and the punches no longer come from the crazy angles they used to. He can be timed, as he fights on rails pretty much.

I entirely agree - Khan is on the brink of becoming a gatekeeper in the division, but he's pissing his career away waiting for a big opportunity to come his way, without earning it.

In 12 months, I think that unless Khan fights and beats Pacquaio, Brook will be the only british welterweight being talked about. Brook I think has a lot of potential, he's a lot smarter than Khan, can box smartly, and punches with some venom. He might be one of those that once they win a title becomes a much better fighter.

2 of the scorecards each had him winning 4 rounds. with any improvement it
would be a draw. there were rounds which pac won clearly. the fight went the
way everyone expected, with floyd moving and pot shotting a lot. roach told
pac to be more aggressive between rounds but pac didn't follow instructions.
would pac have won more rounds if he was more aggressive? hard to say but
after so much hype over so long and such a huge payday, pac has no excuses.
there are guys who won fights with dislocated shoulders.

i'm not saying pac could have won the fight under any circumstances, but
he was a big disappointment to say the least as far as his effort level in the
biggest fight of his career. he should have left it all out there and he didn't.
if there is a rematch, he should do it for free. otherwise, just move on and
accept that he lost to the better boxer in his biggest fight with an otherwise
great career to look back on.
