Cornelius Bundrage is defending his IBF title against Jermall Charlo on the Quillin-Zefera card.

Meanwhile WBC President Mauricio Sulaiman said they will wait until after Mayweather fights Berto before any decisions are made regarding the two tiles Mayweather currently holds.

"Mayweather is fighting September 12th. That is when we will address the situation. He might retire - he might not. If he isn't going to fight at 154 then we will address that but I think he deserves the time to go through this historic stage of his career and this historic era of boxing," Sulaiman told BS.com.

lol.
The WBC is not going to risk stripping Mayweather then miss out on sanctioning fees if he decides to fight again.

Jermell Charlo is second in the WBC rankings not Jermall.

You jealous your not in the know mate? Well 2 out of the 3 can't get a visa due to previous convictions. One is on a bit of a bender it seems. :DD

The convictions didn't happen yesterday, these things were already known.
It was just name dropping with no intention at all of actually fighting those guys.

So what is the upside of fighting Brian Rose?

It might be a good idea to wait until you get something right before claiming to be 'in the know.'

Mundine's manager Ben Thompson said on twitter yesterday: "We are getting very close to announcing Anthony Mundine's next opponent".

The date shown for Mundine's next fight in Boxrec is October 14th - not October 24th like the thread title here.

TimFreza wrote:Anthony will be fighting one of these opponents. In order of most likely to least likely from top to bottom.

- Carson Jones (Provided he beats Rose on Saturday)
- James Kirkland
- Alfredo Angulo
- Soto Karass

Theres a little bit about Jones fighting Mundine here http://boxing-kingdom.blogspot.com.au/2 ... video.html

Carson also mentions here about Mundine https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GrgfxSmaYSs

All are solid bouts.
You are up to at least number 6 by my calculations :

1/ Carson Jones (Provided he beats Rose on Saturday)
2/ James Kirkland
3 / Alfredo Angulo
4/ Soto Karass

5/ Brian Rose (after he beat Jones - see above)

6/ Now George Cota, and for the full WBC title ( http://boxrec.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=22&t=194126 )

Has the merry-go-round officially stopped yet?

Looking at Jorge Cota's record his best wins are probably Luis Ramon Campas, whom Sherrington beat shortly afterward, and Jhonson, whom Cota beat last up.

http://boxrec.com/boxer/506305

Cota is arguably the 6th best junior middleweight in Mexico behind Canelo Alvarez, Carlos Molina, Ramon Alvarez, Daniel Sandoval and Alfonso Gomez.

Fight has been postponed to November 11. None of the above mentioned is the opponent. This topic has turned into bum fight, therefore locked
