Was going to post this myself credit to Povetkin Wach will be probably be leagues above Wilders opponent especially if it is Warwyzk.
Don't know anything about Kayode but the Chakhkiev Afolabi fight could be a war Chak has some serious power but if Afolabi takes him to the second half of the fight it will be interesting.

Re: Povetkin-Wach, Lebedev-Kayode and Chakhkiev-Afolobi
I don't think Lebedev vs Kayode will be competetive unless Levedev gets old overnight. Kayode was destroyed in 1 round against Ortiiz, and while Lebedev is much smaller than Cuban southpaw, I think he will stop Kayode early too. Kayode is too crude to beat Lebedev and I don't think he is heavy hitter. Kalenga was much better than Kayode and Denis beat him while in competetive fight.
As for Chakhkiev vs Afolabi, I think Rakhim should be considered a huge favorite in this fight since Ola looked like a shot fighters in his last fights. But Ola can bang and Chakhkiev has a questionable chin, so I won't be shocked if Ola KO's him with a big right hand.
Povetkin vs Wach should be good fight. Povetkin always struggled against tall fighters since his amateurs days, but I think Wach is too slow and too predictable to give him serious problems. Povetkin should win this fight by wide UD. I'd be very surprised if he stops Wach, considering the fact that even Wlad, who is much harder hitter than Alexander, couldn't stop or even seriously hurt him, but Povetkin should get a W here anyway. Also, while Wach is even taller than Wilder, I think he isn't the best opponent to prepare for Deontay since he is painfully slow. Alexander Dimitrenko is much faster, has better reflexes and footwork, and I think he resembles Wilder much more than Wach does. But Dimitrenko has a fragile jaw and questionable heart, while Wach proved his durability, so I think Povetkin's team has chosen him, because Sasha needs rounds since Wilder fight won't happen until March 2016 and Povetkin spent just 91 seconds in the ring since October 2014.
And yes, it's a very good card.

Re: Povetkin-Wach, Lebedev-Kayode and Chakhkiev-Afolobi
Good card, although I'm gutted that Drozd-Makabu won't be on it.
Wach is very durable and Povetkin would make a statement if he stopped him considering that Wlad failed to--it would also be the third consecutive time he stopped someone who had never previously been halted.
Chak-Afolabi is a fight of two guys with solid fire power who have been contenders for a while now. Chak has rebuilt nicely and has more momentum given that he's not coming off a loss like Ola, but I think the latter is still dangerous and he didn't disgrace himself in the loss to Ramirez.
Lebedev-Kayode seems like a fight Lebedev should win by stoppage. Kayode looked out of place at HW, but even at CW I didn't think much of him and I think he'll get busted up by Lebedev's more precise shots. Should still be fun while it lasts though...
Now hopefully Kud's fighting an solid opponent.

So Wilder-Povetkin will happen not before April-May 2016!!!
Re: Povetkin-Wach, Lebedev-Kayode and Chakhkiev-Afolobi
Very interesting card, also Kudryashov will fight on this card.
I think that Povetkin-Wach will be very interesting fight and tough test for Povetkin. It also good preparation for Wilder.
Lebedev should easily pass through Kayode.
Ola could give hard fight to Chakhkiev. For me this fight will be most interesting on this card.

im not sure Wach Povetkin will happen. today i saw Wach vs Rekowski face2face, the fight will happen 9/26
Re: Povetkin-Wach, Lebedev-Kayode and Chakhkiev-Afolobi
Any thoughts on who Kudryashov should fight, keeping availability in mind?
I wouldn't mind seeing him in with, from most to least interesting, Kalenga, Arslan Masternak, or Larghetti.

Kalenga would be ideal. Arslan would be okay.crusader wrote:Any thoughts on who Kudryashov should fight, keeping availability in mind?

He has to beat Rekowski or the fight with Povetkin is off.

Russians say the fight is off if he takes Rekowski fight. no fight before Povetkin if he wants fight him. Wach has a crazy plan to fight Rekowski (im not even sure he will win) then go to sparring with Klitschko and then fight Povetkin

People seem to forget that Wach was drugged during his Klitschko fight and still lost badly. Wladimir said he didn't understand why Wach dis not go down during the fight, Wlad suffered from swollen hands himself and was quite angry Wach used illegal substances because Wach could seriously injure himself, as well as Wladimir. I would be surprised if Wlad likes him as a sparringpartner ever since.

Looking forward to it. Chak-Afolabi is more interesting to me in light of Chak having issues with Hamilton Ventura.Freedom2013 wrote:Official fight card so far:

Kudryashov, 18-0 18 KO's, is dynamite!
Re: Povetkin-Wach, Lebedev-Kayode and Chakhkiev-Afolobi
Big fan of Kud and I'm hoping he steps up in his next fight....maybe someone like Masternak or even better Kalenga.

What PED increases your punch resistance? I brought this up before and some people don't think something like that exists. I'm not sure. So what do you know of that does it?asdfjkl wrote:People seem to forget that Wach was drugged during his Klitschko fight and still lost badly. I don't know, I know that cocaine keeps you alert, even after a punch or accident.clopixolacuphase wrote:What PED increases your punch resistance? I think pretty much every drugs that makes people who are tired stay awake for a longer time works, even a cup of coffee or a sigaret.
I know for a fact that people that used cocaine can take a serious beat or accident.
Normal people get tired really soon after a crash/accident/fall/..., but some types or drugs keep you alert.
People that just survived a serious carcrash for example are often talked to, just to keep them alert before going to the hospital.
