Re: Huck vs Glowacki?
Nope. But Glowacki took it out of the judges hands with that BIG right hand. What a finish.Evander wrote:Those tv scorecards got that wrong didn't they
Re: Huck vs Glowacki?
I had it 95-94 Huck.....was not expecting a durable guy like him to be stopped in that manner.
Re: Huck vs Glowacki?
Awesome fight, one of my friends is there. Huck overestimated his own chances of a late round KO and got caught pulling straight back and put to sleep.

Re: Huck vs Glowacki?
Fight of the year so far for me
PBC has been strong recently.....the Warren-Payano card was very enjoyable too.

Cruiser has been my favorite division for a few years. More people should give it a trydagilechia wrote:so why americans dont like cruiser? oh because not much trash talk? great fight!

Did you go for Glowacki outright or on points?armageto wrote:Not sure if he will, but I can see the scenario where he might. Just for the odds, I'll put a few bucks on it just for fun. At +1130 odds, Hell, worth a shot....Tarkus wrote:Glowacki is a slick defensive southpaw. I think he can outpoint Huck.

I actually went for over 10.5. 8)crusader wrote:Did you go for Glowacki outright or on points?armageto wrote:Not sure if he will, but I can see the scenario where he might. Re: Huck vs Glowacki?
Nice, and good job actually calling Glowacki ahead of time.
Re: Huck vs Glowacki?
Thanks. Although one thing I did not see is Huck getting stopped. Noone did I guess.crusader wrote:Nice, and good job actually calling Glowacki ahead of time.
Re: Huck vs Glowacki?
Huck had the fight won going into round 11. He got caught. Crazy. That's boxing.
Re: Huck vs Glowacki?
Glowacki did what Lebedev, Povetkin, Ramirez and Tokarev all couldn't.
Huck got gung-ho in the last rds and didn't pay enough respect to Glowacki's power.
I'm not sure Glowacki wins the rematch.

Re: Huck vs Glowacki?
I've had it 95:95.
Just like Lynne Carter, except I have a draw in the 4th round.

I had him straight (Lesser odds than the +1130, but still good) in a parlay which won and I had him by points as a singular bet.

Great job with the pick. You made me look into Glowacki some and win some money......Tarkus wrote:Thanks. Although one thing I did not see is Huck getting stopped. Noone did I guess.crusader wrote:Nice, and good job actually calling Glowacki ahead of time.

I'm not quite sure what these people were watching last night, but just because a tv commentator tells you one thing and is backed up by Steve Farhood doesn't make them right.
It's obviously easy to be sheep and hide among the crowd rather than go it alone a lot of time, I see a lot of that on the boxing circuit.
Huck was terrible, he look soft coming in was off balance and missing all night so I don't have a clue what you lot were all watching.
Just because he's the favorite doesn't win him rounds, he has to win those rounds.
Just because he may be more well known or popular doesn't win him rounds, he has to win those rounds.
And if 3,4,5 or however many people they have on the broadcasting team are telling you he won the rounds doesn't mean he won the rounds, he has to win them.
A lot of the time you'll notice them hyping up a fighter during a bout because there maybe a lucrative fight in the pipeline, still doesn't win him rounds that he lost.
And as for those people that thought the knockout saved Glowacki think again ...
If Glowacki didn't win by stoppage but had the 11th won by a 2 point round and won the 12 he would have at least got a majority draw.
Think about it people that's all I got to say.

Some boxing fans also think being contrarian makes them seem deep and knowledgeable.
Any one who had it more than two to three rounds difference either way was just being biased for one reason or another.
FWIW my card matched with two of the judges, and had the knockout not occurred the fight would have been on the line in the 12th.
