Lucas Browne Top 100 at Heavyweight?

Post by TimFreza »

I can see a slight argument why he is top 150. But the guy's not even top 100.

It's all dreamland. He wouldn't last 2 rounds with Chagaev.

Agreed. That was ordinary. First round or two I thought is Long trying to give him a KO. Hit with way too much and not from range. And the body shot Long landed, I think in the 8th, almost did Browne. Amyway good to see some free to air though probably be the last foor a while??? Again!!

Browne is just a banger he started to late to get any decent boxing abilities. He is getting looked after, until the a big fight surfaces then he will get bombed out in spectacular fashion. Wouldn't mind him going in with Joshua, just to see another easy Joshua blowout.

I agree it was a shocking performance. Maybe it was the broken thumb? Only good thing I sore with brown is he looked ok to go the full distance stamina wise.

Browne is what he his, a plodding banger.
And good "boxer" will box his ears off.he's also got paper skin which will get worse if he keeps defending with his face.
I'd even fancy current Meehan and even current Tua to KO him, never mind Parker lol.Ben Edwards would give him fits too

His best win is Rudenko (spelling) who he went life and death with while feather fisted rookie Hughie Fury beat easily. I also think Brownes power is over rated (not that I wanna test it lol) as he punches too slow.
But I like him lol, I can't wait for him to fight a live banger as I honestly think he will leave it all in the ring and will be a great fight, not Chagaev though, he will out box him and expose him.he needs to fight another banger in the top 20

Just watched a bit of Tarver V Cunningham on Ring TV.
Now I understand that Big Daddy was up against an awkward opponent after a long layoff but geeze the difference in skill level between these two fights is humungous.

You liked that fight? Looked like a couple of old Cruisers to me - that's right, they are! The Huck Glowacki fight though - that was gold
I wish Lucas all the best, but if you're going to dish it out to Wilder, Fury etc. on social media, expect some coming back

We'll soon find out if Browne "won't last 2 rounds with Chagaev" like you claim.
