Who knows. I've no idea of Roys finances, and surely these fights aren't generating that much money anyhow?Like a Boss wrote:I think you'll find money has just as much to do with it.rm1 wrote:Surely RJJ doesn't need it he is still a smart guy who can earn good money from punditry. Not sure why they are fighting unless it's money or some personal goal they want.
The're ridiculously old for a sport like Boxing.
Only Old Man that's doing well is Hopkins, who himself should have retired years ago.
Only difference is Hopkins has a
a) solid boxing game
b) with a superb defence
c) with immense discipline outside of the ring in terms of training and keeping healthy.
Can't say the same for the others.

Yeah, I agree. He boxed Courtney Fry not long ago and no disrespect but I can't imagine there being even tens of thousands of pounds in that one. As someone said earlier, being a boxer must be a central part of who they are and who they see themselves as being - kind of like those old prostitutes who don't do it for the dough.jamesmcdonnell wrote:Who knows. The saddest part is, as Lennox Lewis said (and I posted earlier) :palooka wrote:Yeah, I agree.
