although he didn't get the nod , but I thought he won the fight , i'd say Martin Murrays effort in Argentina against Sergio Martinez was a great effort on the world stage , probably Sergio on the slide a bit , but great performance none the less

I actually disagree with that - I thought Martinez was there for the taking that night, Murray should have put it on him like Cotto ended up doing instead. I was very disappointed with Murray not pressing for the win, massive missed opportunity imo.

My point is, whatever you think about the result, there's no doubting it was a fairly close fight. But Martinez was done by the time that fight came around imo, Murray should have grabbed the opportunity like Cotto did instead of trying to scrape a decision, particularly after his experience with Sturm.
