Brook vs. Bradley
Brook vs. Bradley
It looks like this could really happen. I hope so, as it is a very interesting match-up!

timmy is one of the most overrated so called top boxers out there. he might win 1-3 rounds, not more.

Re: Brook vs. Bradley
I think Brook will be favored if it happens but Ramming Speed is a long night for anyone at welter. He has the experience and the heart to test Brook severely.
Re: Brook vs. Bradley
Wow. Awesome fight. So it probably wont happen. No idea who wins.

Who overrates Tim? The fact is that the man has been spat upon and ridiculed more than nearly any active boxer.Marlo Stanfield wrote:x2Chepppaaa wrote:brook by ud

What a load of particularly stanking human feces.
Re: Brook vs. Bradley
Brook's fighting Diego Chaves.
Re: Brook vs. Bradley
Lol! Chaves is like the slut who ends up at a bachelor party. Or, should I say the stripper who turns hooker.expe wrote:Brook's fighting Diego Chaves.

It's on PPV and I bet Chaves is still only get pennies for it.Tanzio wrote:Lol! Chaves is like the slut who ends up at a bachelor party. Or, should I say the stripper who turns hooker.expe wrote:Brook's fighting Diego Chaves.

PPV doesn't guarantee you riches. It just guarantees that the fight will find a television home.
That's why Mosley vs Mayorga wound up on PPV. No network or cable channel wanted to buy it. The only way it could become a reality was to put it on PPV.
I don't understand why some fans condemn it. You have the option of paying for it or ignoring it. At least it's available if you're interested. Without PPV, the 75,000 or so fans who want to see it would be out in the cold.
Unlike the glory days of PPV, when only megafights were invited, the fighters themselves won't be making a fortune. Just a routine payday for Mayorga and Mosley--but it's a payday they wouldn't get without PPV.

The last I read, Bradley is the first choice, and if that falls through they will make Brook vs Chavez or Provo. I can find nothing about Brook vs Chavez being confirmed?
Re: Brook vs. Bradley
PPV and TV are a lot different over here, channels don't really buy individual fights or shows domestically, they have contracts with promoter for x amount of TV dates each year and Sky are the only PPV broadcaster. ITV only show Carl Frampton but they don't pay for it, Channel 5 have a deal with Mick Hennessey, Dennis Hobson has a deal for some shows with Spike TV, Eddie Hearn has the exclusive contract with Sky for 20+ dates a year and allegedly owns allegedly, so it's rare they show domestic shows that aren't his. None of those promoters will have a show televised if it isn't on that channel and the same can be said for the channels with the promoters. If a fights on PPV it's because it's a big fight and will sell, not because they can't find a channel for it, but Chaves will still be on low money.SenorPipino wrote:expe wrote:It's on PPV and I bet Chaves is still only get pennies for it.Tanzio wrote: Lol! Re: Brook vs. Bradley
Talk of Bradley is bullshit, it was going to be Rios but they couldn't agree a deal, then they moved onto Chaves who they have a deal agreed with already, not been announced officially but from what I've read elsewhere they're just sorting out the PPV and then they'll be ready to announce it next week. Arum was in London at the weekend so I don't doubt that they had a meeting about the fight, but they can't afford to bring Bradley over on this show and I don't think they have any real intention of trying, just a promoter throwing a name out there to make it look as if they're after a big fight. It might happen next year if they don't get Khan, but it would be a huge shock if he fought Bradley in October.Badhusker wrote:expe wrote:Brook's fighting Diego Chaves.

I reckon Brook would stop Bradley a pretty easy win.

exactly. marquez was old and around 2-3 division over his favourite division.
Re: Brook vs. Bradley
Bradley's proven far more, challenged himself far more, and beaten more top fighters than Brook has even negotiated with much less manned up and fought.Rexob wrote:I reckon Brook would stop Bradley a pretty easy win.
I reckon Brook gets out boxed, pretty easily
Re: Brook vs. Bradley
Has the potential for a number of things to happen.
A win over Tim Bradley buys Kell Brook big respect if it's clean and becomes perhaps a landmark fight at Welterweight.
Passing a torch so to speak, a bit dramatic perhaps but an intriguing contest in mind.
A win over Brook signals Bradley can still hold his own at a high level, if he does Bradley
can call the shots and we can take it from there.
The venue could be important.

Re: Brook vs. Bradley
Bradley definitely more proven. I'm not saying Brook will definitely win easily or even win at all but what have you seen style or ability wise that makes you think Bradley could easily outbox Brook?SFW wrote:Bradley's proven far more, challenged himself far more, and beaten more top fighters than Brook has even negotiated with much less manned up and fought.Rexob wrote:I reckon Brook would stop Bradley a pretty easy win.

Re: Brook vs. Bradley
Bradley. Tim is significantly better than Porter and will win a decision vs Brook.
Re: Brook vs. Bradley
How many fights is Brook going to consider and be reported about before he signs his name to a contract? I was an immediate fan of this kid when he upset Porter last year but now he's just like Amir Khan Jr with his inflated view of his worth and soundbites that go absolutely nowhere. Brooks last two fights were against chumps and he just seems to be going down the same pathetic road as Khan.
How many different people has this guy considered to fight in the last 6 months? 6? 7? He's turning into a little Adonis Stevenson. He'll probably not sign this fight with Bradley either and end up fighting a club fighter no one knows like his last 2 fights. Pick and damn opponent already, Brook. You are no Floyd.

Brook wants Bradley, pretty sure he's being honest there. It's more Hearn failing to get deals done and provide the right fight.caldo2025 wrote:How many fights is Brook going to consider and be reported about before he signs his name to a contract? Isn't it getting old though? Does Brook think he's that much of a star to be this much of a drama queen?danamba7 wrote:Brook wants Bradley, pretty sure he's being honest there. Khan, Porter II, Thurman, Diego Chavez, Bradley, Vargas, Brandon Rios, Alexander, Broner...i'm sure that i'm missing a few boxers Brook and Hearn have publicly considered.
So sick of hearing it. Just sign a damn fight and get on the schedule of Fall Fights already. There's already so many good fights to end the year so we really don't need Brook if he doesn't want to fight. Beat it.
