@Boxerbeetle...epic find and some very, very clever and refreshing advertising
Why can't all ads be that good and witty and fair play to Lord Christopher as well.
Kind of glad that I am now too old to be youth hostelling though...thought of arriving at a Budapest hostel at two in the morning and dropping a seven stone backpack on Lord Eubank's bunkbed does not bear worth thinking about.

Funnily enough - I was thinking of going interailing next year, I'm 44, maybe it's a mid life crisis!Bodyshot3 wrote:@Boxerbeetle...epic find and some very, very clever and refreshing advertising![]()

It will simply come down to how much you like your own space ,I've stayed in hostels and some can be like a 4 star hotel with swimming pools and hot tubs others not ,I don't think I could do it now though as having to share a room with 5 others just isn't for me having said that a set of ear plugs and a eye mask and it's not so bad .jamesmcdonnell wrote:Funnily enough - I was thinking of going interailing next year, I'm 44, maybe it's a mid life crisis!Bodyshot3 wrote:@Boxerbeetle...epic find and some very, very clever and refreshing advertising![]()

I still await Skirmish with bated breath, as well.

Wait until I get the old McDonnell Wanger out and start flagellating myself, they'll soon depart.stevedoc wrote:It will simply come down to how much you like your own space ,I've stayed in hostels and some can be like a 4 star hotel with swimming pools and hot tubs others not ,I don't think I could do it now though as having to share a room with 5 others just isn't for me having said that a set of ear plugs and a eye mask and it's not so bad .jamesmcdonnell wrote:Funnily enough - I was thinking of going interailing next year, I'm 44, maybe it's a mid life crisis!Bodyshot3 wrote:@Boxerbeetle...epic find and some very, very clever and refreshing advertising![]()

Re: Youth Hostelling with Chris Eubank
@ Jim..... That should do it
....that used to be my party trick on stag dos ,it's one way of getting your own bed when ever I go away with the lads there's always a fight about who has to share with me normally I end up with with my own room even if it means others have to share beds ...apparently it's not acceptable to tug yourself off while sharing a room or bed .....

Re: Youth Hostelling with Chris Eubank
Steve Coogan alongside Eubank as a double act would work for that show I think.
Re: Youth Hostelling with Chris Eubank
Why did it say "Coming Soon............maybe..." Was the whole thing just a joke as there was no obvious plug for a brand. Or are they actually making this TV show?
I'd watch it in any case. I find him a very entertaining character and I like to listen to his philosophies an' that.

No, it's just an ad for hostelworld, riffing on the joke in Alan Partridge.magwitch wrote:Why did it say "Coming Soon............maybe..." Was the whole thing just a joke as there was no obvious plug for a brand. Or are they actually making this TV show?
