GGG "POTSHOTTING" not using the Mexican style!!!

Post by KBB »

Say it ain't so!! While Ward, Floyd and Rigo be criticized for Potshotting and not Golovkin???

Will there be a double standard?

The man makes valid points in this vid: https://youtu.be/rLJko9Ga078

Your thoughts??

Thoughts are that the video went drastically downhill after the introduction by that attractive lady. Floyd, Rigo and Ward don't have the most fan-friendly style. They're all extremely talented, obviously, but they're rarely entertaining. If GGG fought like either of those three in every fight, he'd be getting the same criticism for being dull. Like a 'before and after' Wlad K, I suppose.

You want people to criticise Golovkin for Potshotting in a fight that has not yet happened?

Your defence of Floyd's reputation has now extended beyond the past and present, to also include the future.

The most obvious criticism of 3G that has legitimacy of late is his tendency to try to make his fights more competitive / fan friendly. In order to do that he has played with his brakes and accelerator, at times resorting to what can be described as potshotting or, more accurately carrying his opponents.

It cannot be equated to what FMJ has resorted to for years.

I don't think so-called "potshotting" is anything new to GGG's arsenal. He has shown this ability in many of his fights. The obvious difference is that Golovkin is much more offensive minded than the Wards, Rigos, and Floyds of the world. This is not news, just a usually informative youtube poster getting a little hung up on a soundbite.

BTW, I think both fighters will be a little more defensive minded, especially early.

Rigo throws and lands a lot of powerpunches.

Did you even listen to the link you provided? Abel Sanchez was talking about GGG using potshot in the first two rounds and then knocking out Lemieux in the 4th. You can't really knock out someone with a potshot so this is just another lame attempt to criticize GGG AGAIN. It's clear what your strategy is when your lover finally retires. Shiit post, nice work.

Caldo still mad at Floyd for beating your hero Manny, tries to attack me over some crap that Sanchez said. You guys are too defensive about little GGG, it must hurt your feelings that he is being aligned with being a Potshotter by his own Trainer. Sure he said he go for the KO but something tells me that it won't be a quick KO in the 4th.

What happens if his attempt to potshot fails and he actually has to use his so called "mexican" style? Will he be able to outgun Lemieux in a toe to toe slugfest?? <<<<<Before you start your menstrual cycle again, please notice that it was only a question?

Golovkin and Lemieux are in New York city promoting their upcoming fight , photos show Golovkin looking noticeably larger .

I hope Lemieux hangs around for at least 3 rounds but I wouldn't be surprised by a quick ending , Golovkin looks serious .

Wait a minute. :shame: Haven't you heard that 3G is a LMW masquerading as a MW? They have to stuff him like a matryoshka doll with pylmini, piroshki and blood sausage just to make 159. Only Cotto is more diminutive than 3G at MW.

Your eyes MUST be deceiving you. :OhYes:

Just look at the pathetic title of your post. I'm no literary genius but I don't see a question associated with this OP. Since GGG took over the #1 P4P spot from your butt boy, you really aren't taking it well KBB. It was bound to happen man so i'm not sure why this is a surprise to you. This is what happens when you steal money from fans and turn from boxer to dancer in the ring. No one wants to see your boy fight any more. Which do you think does more buys? GGG or Floyd's last fight? Let's have a little bet if you have some nuggets. Cheer up KBB, you always have YouTube to wake up to Floyd's last legit KO eight years ago.

How is the title pathetic when it is the same thing the video implies? You really need to stop whining and stay on topic, this isn't about insulting GGG it's about when other fighters use the potshots they get labeled as being scared or fighting scared but people like you want to water it down and make excuses for GGG.

I guess you also found it worthwhile to go crying to the biased Moderators here for my remark to your insults to me but that's ok, you may now go back to whining about the title which is no more than a reflection of what is being referenced in the video.
