Re: Stanislav Kashtanov vs Felix Valera
115-113 Valera,im pretty surprised actually,i knew i had it close but i thought i had Kashtanov nicking it,he definitely was the one hurting his opponent and was busy and always on the front foot but Valera showed some classy shot selection but too many lulls and some running but he's definitely got something
Cant wait to see Valera again he's fun

Thought Kashtanov deserved it...but we have a better chance seeing Valera again courtesy of that decision ![[icon_e_biggrin.gif] :D](./images/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif)

Always better when the foreign feed put the scores on the bottom of the screen...

Re: Stanislav Kashtanov vs Felix Valera
This is the first boxing card I haven't watched on tv in years.
Can someone give me a quick summary of the main event fighters as haven't seen either before.
Moving house and needed to free up sky plus percentage. Missus got rid of my Russian boxing :-(

Re: Stanislav Kashtanov vs Felix Valera
Stanislav Kashtanov, the WBA Interm LHW champ from Ukraine was 33-1 going into the fight, his only loss was by SD in a WBA Regular title fight against Karoly Balzsay 4 years ago,no notable other opponents on his CV. Felix Valera from Dominican Republic was 12-0 going in,all won by KO and 10 in the first round with no opponents of notePredatorHayds wrote:This is the first boxing card I haven't watched on tv in years.

How did Valera look. With his level raised how did his one punch power look?handsofstone wrote:Stanislav Kashtanov, the WBA Interm LHW champ from Ukraine was 33-1 going into the fight, his only loss was by SD in a WBA Regular title fight against Karoly Balzsay 4 years ago,no notable other opponents on his CV. Re: Stanislav Kashtanov vs Felix Valera
I was impressed with him he's definitely got skills,he's a switch hitter but boxes mainly out of the southpaw stance,he was rocked several times but showed heart and a good chin to stay up,he was in control for the first 4 rounds or so and he hit Kashtanov with some solid shots but he took them well then Kashtanov came into the fight and thats when he was hurting Valera but Felix finished the fight in control,i had Valera winning 115-113 but it was closePredatorHayds wrote:How did Valera look.
