Young Light Heavies Stepping Up.
Young Light Heavies Stepping Up.
With Kovalev, Stevenson, Ward, & Beterbiev vultiring around the 175 pd weight class many prospects are stepping up. Sam Clarkson is one, having defeated Jerry Odom, who is also a 175 prospect. I don't know what Jeff Page father was thinking, throwing his son Jeff Page jr in with Beterbiev, but he messed his son up. Marcus Browne vs Campillo is not a step-up fight. Campillo beat Thomas Williams but Williams never had heart. Campillo is a name for Browne. Plus he 36. The real step-up was Travis Peterkin & Lenin Castillo. Both fighters put it all on the line & both was undefeated & Castillo an Olympian. The ref saved Castillo. But give these championship credit. Wanna see browne step up like these guys did.

Light heavyweight to me is the most exciting division in boxing right now.
