Unfortunately, Mosley has got to to make more sense numbers wise for Brook and Matchroom than Chaves or Bizier...

Can't see Mosley making 147 again. Bizier shouldn't be in the same ring as Brook, that is a total mismatch! I think it will be Chavez as I've heard Hearn talking that one up a few times.

It's going to be Chaves and has been the case for ages surprised it has taken so long to announce. I don't mind the fight but if it's not Thurman Bradley Khan after it will be a waste of time.

Got a feeling Bizier might stay at light-middle looks like he can't do welter anymore not even for a title.
He's already accepted the eliminator, don't think there's any weight issues with him, just that he doesn't bother making 10st 7 if it isn't a 12 rounder.
I quite like Bizier. Brook is clearly a couple of levels above him but he's got a decent little following in Canada. He has a chance at cracking the top 10 at light middle.

I don't think that he has much of a following and he lost both fights to Jo Jo Dan, with no wins to suggest that those were aberrations. He also doesn't have the power that could make him dangerous even as a generally over-matched foe, and for me it would another yawn fight for Brook.

Brook is well protected. The question I have is "why?"

Brook needs to get himself over to the US asap. He's at a weight which is currently one of the deepest and financially lucrative, ridiculous that he's being lined up with this sort of opposition.

Absolutely agree with this.

It's bonkers that someone who holds a 'world title' trinket in one of the most talent rich divisions in boxing can't get a fight with an opponent that has a pulse! :o :-?

I'm beginning to think that he'd be better off doing a Riddick Bowe & dumping that trinket in the bin, then he might be able to secure some big fights with decent opposition.

Been on twitter to see reactions and people are annoyed. Personally I think this is a decent fight whilst Rios is a bigger name I feel Chaves should have smashed him if he didn't fight dirty. Basically any Welter with a decent jab can paste Rios.

No way did Chaves deserve a draw with Bradley but did give a good fight. This fight is far from a walk over for Kell.

However I have said since the Dan fight Kell should have gone to the US at Welterweight he has to do that sooner or later.

After this fight it simply has to be one of Thurman, Bradley, Garcia or Khan.

Poor fight for the current British number one boxer..

I blame Eddie. .

This sums up the whole year where the great British fights have not been made

Unless matchroom make a significant profit ON THE DAY... they won't pay

So the only BIG fight they will ever promote on UK soil for Brook is Khan

Maybe :salut: Brook got the title shot v Porter without really facing many (any) high ranking dangermen, he's a hard hitter and strong but ought to face an excellent challenger before long.

I thought this was going to be part of the Fury Vs. Klitschko PPV? Undercard from England than over to Germany for the main event. So is Brook Vs. Chavez actually on SKY Sports then?

Brook Vs. Chavez certainly does appear to be on SKY Sports, not SKY Box Office. Wonder who's getting the rights for Fury Vs. Klitschko then? BT Sport :-?

If it formed part of the Fury vs Klitschko PPV I actually wouldn't complain too much, as the undercard for Klitschko fights are invariably terrible.

Following the announcement of Brook Vs. Chavez on SKY, B0xnati0n have tweeted there's going to be an announcement this Friday, on Bunces Boxing Hour, confirming they have secured a huge fight. Possibly Fury Vs. Klitschko or Canelo Vs. Cotto?
