Problem with him, I seem to be inserting him into shows, only to remove him 2 weeks before the show for various reasons. Some promoters give reason, some don't.

Hopefully Kye Mackenzie can get back on track after his shock loss to Asis. An exciting all action fighter I had high hopes for, Matt Gartlett too but he seems to have faded away since losing to Kye.

Lenny Zappavigna is still only 27 and is 33-2. One of his losses was to the highly respectable Miguel Vazquez for the IBF title. Handy fighter Zappa and should have plenty still in the tank if he chooses. But he has just fallen short against the top guys.

That would have something to do with his management team. Doesn't change the fact that he is a great talent.

Rohan Murdock is part of our pack of promising super middleweights alongside Caparello, Dunn, Carr and Quinlan.

Murdock's win last week takes him to 18-1 and at 23 he appears to have a bright future.

We are very light on in the lower weight divisions at the present time. Historically we have been strong in the bantamweight division for instance. But the cupboard is almost bare down there at the moment.

In the super bantamweight division we have a couple of guys travelling alright, neither of whom I am familiar with >>>

Queensland born Jason Cooper 23 and 14-2-1.

Irish born, NSW situated T.J. Doheny 28 and 12-0.

Anyone who much about these guys??

Know a bit about Nuggett Jason Cooper. He can fight a bit and travelling along nicely. Hard to say whether he will go to the next level until he fights at that level. Was matched with a former WBA champ but it got cancelled with an injury of some sort.

Know a bit about Nuggett Jason Cooper. He can fight a bit and travelling along nicely. Hard to say whether he will go to the next level until he fights at that level. Was matched with a former WBA champ but it got cancelled with an injury of some sort.

The penny finally dropped for me on Cooper. He is the guy with the brightly coloured tattoos all over the front of him. Saw his picture in a magazine a while back but didn't make the connection between the picture and his Boxrec record,

Did some homework on T.J. Doheny.

Ireland born. Knew that. What I didn't realize was T.J. began his amateur career at 11 and had over 200 amateur fights - including 40 times internationally - and won 5 national titles. He arrived in Australia at age 21 and continued with the odd amateur fight here over the next few years before turning pro at 25, in 2012.

Doheny is now 12-0 in the pro ranks and the current holder of the PABA title. He will defend the title against former WBA world flyweight champion and former longtime PABA champion Denkaosan Kaovichit on October 3rd.

Anthony Buttigieg now 7-0 and has some reasonable scalps on his belt including Benny Capps twice and Fed Tukes.

Cameron Hammond moved to 14-0 last night by stopping Denkamon Pakdee Gym.

Hammond keen now to fight the winner of Sam Eggington and Frankie Gavin for the Commonwealth title.

The stars may have aligned for Cameron.

Frankie Gavin has withdrawn from his Commonwealth welterweight challenge against Sam Eggington due to a foot injury. Gavin has revealed he was run over a fortnight ago and the injury, coupled has impact on his training schedule, has left him with no choice other than to pull out.

Eggington now needs a new challenger for the October 17 Birmingham Barclaycard Arena card and his Commonwealth title.

11 days? Could Cameron he get the call-up?
