Your comments would carry more weight if he got a not guilty - of course us he says he is confident if an appeal, what else is he supposed to say.?

I am guessing you are not well versed on the appellate process. You can't simply appeal because you disagree on fact.

I wasn't there, I don't know Jamie or the Baltic State dancer.
But I am a bloke who's made many dodgy decisions in the past, especially concerning birds. It sounds to me like he got caught up with a manipulative lady after a man with 'prospects' & he is in over his head.
This doesn't condone his actions but it doesn't mean he is a bad man.
What he needs is to never be around this lady again & chalk it up to experience. We've all had that sexy bint that messes with our minds. This is his & it got out of hand.

I don't know who this girl is, but generally these women that do this for a living are all fake boobs and gold diggers - and they always trot out the tired old line that they are 'studying' or sending money home for a sick relative. Usually they are broken inside and you shouldn't get ideas about long-term relationships with these types, unless you are in the same kind of game as themselves.

Regardless of the type of woman she is and what she does for a living it doesn't justify beating down doors and throttling her...he should have just plead guilty and admitted his emotions got the better of him , as someone else said earlier in the thread - his story sounds stupid.
I wish Cox all the best. She's a very good looking girl snd I csn see how he'd be taken in just by looking at her. Busting a door down and making empty threats isn't the same as actually laying into her. Instinct tells me he's not gone too far over the line here and what he said he'd do was never really on the cards. Hope he gets off on appeal.
