It actually surprises me that it's being held in Toronto. I'm from Quebec, and boxing is huge there with the recent successes of the Haitian and Romanian transplants, as well as Lemiuex, not to mention Lucas and the Hiltons a few years ago.
In the ROC? Boxing seems about as big as fencing, as far as I can tell.
Bobby, there has been a huge wave from GYM thanks to the francophone games in Gatineau which helped him sign plenty of prospects and start GYM well... even got boxing here on prime time TV as you probably know. That was huge to get boxing to regular TV (while Interbox was putting on some of the worse PPVs ever like Lucas vs Menefee)

That wasn't my point. That's Quebec, not Ontario, or anywhere else in Canada for that matter.

GYM has been trying to set up an event in Toronto for Years since it started. Wanted Ross and fighters like Lo Greco to headline. Never materialized mainly due to Ross' unlucky career endings

I'd love to see Chris get the upset. I'll go WAY out on a limb and say he's gonna get a SD here.
Stylistically it will be hard for Heerden. He likes to stalk behind a jab and gradually let his hands go in straight combos and body shots. He is not too good at dealing with angles.
It's Spence's fight to lose. Spence just has to keep moving, impose his speed and control the center.
Round three clear for Spence and he hurt CVH. I know Chris is rough and tumble. Spence is really looking like the real deal. CVH with a little success late.
