I came here to see what you guys would be saying about Spence.

A performance like that against a quality opponent ... and nothing.

This place used to be more about the fights and relevant discussion of the fighter.
Now, it's like TMZ boxing stories are more important discussions.

Nice highlights from PBC: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VooN72RtPk8
I've been impressed with Van Heerden for some time. Never figured him to be a major player on the world scene, but I did think they moved Spence in with him a little too quickly. Spence proved me completely wrong.

I honestly think he's ready to challenge right now. He won't get one for 3-4 bouts, but he's ready now. That was clinic on smart, superior boxing.

Van Heerden is solid but not much more. I think Spence is the goods and had zero concerns about him being moved too quickly here.

Great point amigo. I was expecting much more than a few comments in this thread by now. Fast-rising fighters like Spence are the future of the sport.

You're absolutely right about the topics discussed here at Current Scene. The topics and discussions used to be a lot meatier than now, and the shallow pop culture crap now seems to dominate the forum.
It's really only a few posters who do that, unfortunately they are some of the most active and vocal. There are certain posters who's threads I always enter though, and you're one of them, Verb.

If you manage him, who do you put Spence in with next?
