Big Matchroom fights of 2016
Big Matchroom fights of 2016
what do people think the big summer matchroom fight of 2016 will be:
Khan v Brook,, i would like this fight but i dont think it does near 80,000 people
Brook V Bradley,, I think this fight will happen next and Kell will win
Tyson v AJ,, If tyson does well against wladamir i love this fight
AJ v Haye,, sick note needs one decent win if he comes back from under his duvet
Degale v Groves,,, I think this weekend has seen the last of Groves as a ppv fighter
Degale v Froch,,, id love to see this fight,
Groves v smith,, Id love to see smith Ko George of the world seen
Quigg v Frampton,, I see framptons manager as the main halter of this fight
Quigg v Rigo,,, great fight but i dont think the casuals know rigo to well
Warrington v Selby,,, interesting fight but i think Selby is a few levels above Josh,,
Any other monster UK fights that people would like to see as Eddie wantss PPV fights

Brook Gavin 2?
Re: Big Matchroom fights of 2016
Groves v Murray would be decent I reckon.
Wouldn't mind seeing the winner of Fielding v Smith up against Badou Jack and maybe DeGale v Ward.
Frampton v Quigg/Rigo but you're probably correct in saying McGuigan is holding it up!
McDonnell v Yamanaka or Cabellero.
Yafai v Butler.

Hearn the domestic promoter will get nothing made, just like this year.

Campbell-Coyle and Joshua-Whyte. Both British level. Matchroom fighters best wind have all come on PBC shows, and Eddie never even went because he thought they were going to get beat!ste1983 wrote:Still waiting on this yearsmullenman wrote:what do people think the big summer matchroom fight of 2016 will be:

No doubt he's desperate to make Khan-Brook for next summer.
I always thought Quigg-Frampton was the big one they all messed up on this year. Don't think that fight will ever happen now.

Joshua to fight for a belt at Vicarage road with Reece Bellotti on the undercard would shift some tickets. Quigg/Frampton and or Khan/Brook at Wembley would be good. But no doubt end up with fights being talked about but never happening

Watford will be in London soon enough.
Re: Big Matchroom fights of 2016
The only one of these with a chance of happening next year is Warrington Vs Selby unfortunately. I would certainly like to see Martin Murray thrown into a big fight in 2016, he looks impressive a SMW, although he needs a tougher opponent now. Really interested to see what they do with Yafai next year.mullenman wrote:what do people think the big summer matchroom fight of 2016 will be:

Really? I've thought hes looked a bit poor to be honest, hes not actually fought a genuine SMW yet either.Batley18 wrote:The only one of these with a chance of happening next year is Warrington Vs Selby unfortunately. Re: Big Matchroom fights of 2016
Barry Hearn's wishlist for 2015 was:
Froch vs. Chavez
Brook vs. Khan
Quigg vs. Frampton
Fury vs. Joshua
Degale vs. Groves
So we're all hoping for more or less the same fights in 2016!

If you are looking at adapting to a new weight class, I think he has done a good job. I agree that he hasn't fought anyone of note at the new weight yet, but I think it is clear to see that he can be a challenger at this division.ste1983 wrote:Really?
